• Atinuke K. ★★★★★ — Simply disappointing. I was baffled that the standards of Yokoyo fell short in this branch. The amala was so lumpy that I knew it was made without love. Texture was off and the soup? Utterly bad. Too thick for amala and the weird smell of a particular spice or bouillon cube hit my nose first. It didn’t smell of the meat that it was cooked with which surprised me. The male staff who attended to us were polite enough but the female staff probably needs more training. Large chunks of the wall were peeling at the register but I guess that’s not so important as the food. It’s nice that they have combo meals too but not at the expense of quality. My friend didn’t enjoy the meal either. We couldn’t even lick our fingers and just washed the soup off them 🥲 I trashed the meal after a few painful swallows although the beef was tender. I do not look forward to eating the second meal we got. Your Lekki, Ogudu and Ikorodu branches have maintained good standards, at least since the last times I got them. Please see to this branch before you completely lose that standard tgat everyone loves.
• Oziluv I. ★★★★★ — An affordable cafeteria-style eatery in the heart of Victoria Island. Nothing special about the food tastewise, but there's a good variety of local cuisine and it won't break your bank. A popular spot, so expect a crowd. Service was a bit slow as a result and the server was so busy that he forgot to add one of the dishes we ordered to our bill. They should think about moving to a bigger location. Business is booming.
