The receptionist on check out was so rude. They have this weird rule demanding for payment from a guest before you can actually see the room. I personally found that dodgy as you’re asked for pay for a service you can’t even see.
You’re made to watch a video they have prerecorded and they say their rooms are exactly as the video which is so untrue.
The first room we were given had a loose tap broken. But that wasn’t in their video.
We finally got one of their rooms and
I found old bubble gum from a previous guest in the room we were given. The toilet bowl was broken. (Although their maintenance team managed to sort that). My partner found dead croakroaches in the cabinet.
Also you have to flush the toilet to get water pressure from the shower.
In short, avoid this hotel. It’s overpriced and you’re lured to pay before they give you no single value for your money. I had an outstanding bill of 1050 naira to pay. I had to only a 1000 naira note on me but I was made to bank transfer 50 naira because their receptionist thought 50 naira was too much to loose to a guest who had just spent 2 nights at their hotel and tipped their staff. There is not a single form of hospitality sense in this place.
I hope their management does better. But my advice to anyone looking to stay here is to avoid it. Very disappointing!!!
Shian R.★★★★★ — If zero star was an option I would put that. They employ dishonest staff members. They falsely accused my husband and I of smoking in the room when we didn’t. They have several smoke detectors in the room that would go off if we truly did. The little hotel attendant named Francis try to extort us out of money to pay for the smoking fee when there was no evidence of smoke in the room. Only for us to call the manager to come back up to the room, and she said that there was no evidence of smoke in the room. After shouting he finally admitted to lying and apologize to us! If he can lie us they will do the same to others! PLEASE BE AWARE DON’T stay here!

michael M.★★★★★ — Kunini should be ranked amongst the best in Lugbe FHA, but I'd honestly recommend it before many other hotels at Lugbe FHA. The wooden designs of the rooms are very tush, the service wasn't too classy for me, but they can improve. However, proximity to the airport is also a nice one.
Good ambience for such a hotel. Keep improving guys and well done to the team.
