    • MMSIDI R. ★★★★★ Everyday I have been in the way of kofar waika
    • Sadiq D. ★★★★★ Ƙofar Waika, was built by Sarki giji Masu. The name of this gate originates from the name of a son of a Kano blacksmith, as Gwangwazo (2003) states. However, Ƙwalli (1996) says its name actually originates from the name of a walƙiya (granary), but he brings no supporting evidence.

    • Ibrahim S. ★★★★ Kofar Famfo is one of the distinct gates within the historic city walls of Kano. Unlike many of the original 15 gates that date back to the medieval period (11th–15th centuries), Kofar Famfo is recognized as a more modern addition to the city's fortification system.
    • Sadiq D. ★★★★★ His Highness Sarki Abdullahi Bayero commissioned the construction of this gate. It was built specifically during the implementation of the major water engineering project designed to pump water from the Calawa source to the Goron Dutse reservoir. To facilitate the installation of this new infrastructure and gate, a section of the historic city wall (Ganuwa) was deliberately partially demolished and then meticulously reconstructed around it. The gate itself derives its name directly from the very project that necessitated its creation – namely, the water pumping station project.

    • HRH B. ★★★★★ The great Goron Dutse Hill is one of the natural landmarks in the ancient city of Kano. You can get great views atop this hill. I believe this is a tourist attraction center if the government at both levels will create an intiative. It is surrounded by a great overwhelming settlement. I head the place is historic, but unfortunately I don't have the details yet, but one day. May posterity be nice to this site. May a young revolutionary take charge of this place
