    Recent reviews

    • Eve A. ★★★★★ : You guys are selling spoilt and stale cake . Don’t you care about the health of your customers . Please either throw the cakes away or add preservatives to prevent spoilage . I wasted my money !!!
    • Agbaghe O. ★★★★★ : We ordered the Royal Large Pizza, which took about 20 minutes to arrive, partly because the staff didn’t notify us immediately when it was ready. Still, the pizza was fantastic—the toppings were well balanced, and every bite was a delight. The interior of the restaurant was well designed, with furniture that was both stylish and inviting. However, the atmosphere was rather noisy, even with music playing in the background.

    • Afoma C. ★★★★★ : Omor I think this particular restaurant has ruined afang soup for me😡 like the soup I bought from them this evening was the worst I've ever had How can you prepare afang soup and pack okazi and pour inside, has water leaf finished in the market??? And they couldn't even add enough spice to bring out the taste, the goat meat was worse, they couldn't even spice it well💔 please your chefs have enough room to learn, they should go back to curlinary school😡

    • Perpetual I. ★★★★★ : While the restaurant has a lovely ambience, I was deeply disappointed by the value for money. The portion sizes are quite small for the prices charged. To make matters worse, the pricing felt misleading during the ordering process, leading to an outrageous bill that didn't match the experience.
    • chibugo A. ★★★★★ : The food tastes nice enough but all their items are largely overpriced... nearly double the cost for even water and soda. The prices are not displayed anywhere; you only get to know your bill when your packagef order is at the till. I don't appreciate this feature.

    Recent reviews

    • Chioma A. ★★★★★ : I went with my family on the 25th of December to the restaurant. The food was terrible and overpriced. There wasn't AC and we were all sweating while eating. The service was alright. We were able take pictures outside so the decorations were a plus.
    • Ugochukwu O. ★★★★★ : Actually visited their cinema with my kids. Was an interesting outing with the kids and also was an adventurous one for them. We were delayed for more than 30 mins. Was also very expensive although we got a discount for my last kid who is 3. We got the jumbo popcorn, ice-cream and carbonated drinks. They need to work on their lavatory as wet it very unkempt. Their Lobby's AC was bad, they need to work on it too. But in all, it was a nice and an enjoyable experience especially for my kids.

How to choose safely

What to check before choosing genesis restaurants in Port Harcourt

Rankings are a starting point. For this category, these are the checks that most often separate a useful recommendation from a risky one.

  • Check recency

Restaurants change fast. Recent reviews and photos matter more than old popularity signals.

  • Match the occasion

Confirm ambience, parking, reservation rules, family-friendliness, and menu availability before going.

  • Watch consistency

Repeated comments about service speed, cleanliness, portions, and pricing are more useful than one viral review.
