Big expanse area with all spaces either interlocked or lawned. Has several independent eateries/spots, wit more than enough seating & parking spaces.
All local delicacies & dishes are available . Roasted/peppersoup fish (crocker, tilapia, cat fish), cooked chicken with spinach vegetables, snail, nkwobi, isi èwu etc. Prices are reasonable due to stiff competition. Even has a massive Events Center and some private & reserved areas for parties or similar engagements. No regrets going there anyday! However, de proprietors must improve on service to make de place top notch

But then I went to the garden and I understood why. Lady Sharon who owns and runs The Garden At No6 has created a beautiful peaceful foliage oasis which is instantly welcoming as you drive into the compound
There are hundreds of plant varieties from the low to high maintenance, from the well know to the exotic, from edible miniature plants to non edible replicas or edible plants and so much more.
What is especially striking however, is the amount of work and hands on experience that goes into keeping a garden this large looking neat and pest or infection-free.
The plants are wiped down regularly and receive baths or showers quite often. Expense isn’t spared in ensuring that even the grounds are clean. I really haven’t been into a cleaner or more neatly arranged garden, ever!
But the most endearing thing about a Garden At No6 experience has to be the ‘Lady Sharon’ experience.
I tried to purchase a false or inedible cabbage plant once. It was huge and really beautiful and looked like a low maintenance plant. I also wanted to buy an air plant. The air plant looked like what a child could easily grow and I was excited.
However Lady Sharon refused to sell those and a third plant (I can’t recall which) to me. She explained that they were high-maintenance and would most likely die in my hands since I was a new plant mum. All my enthusiasm didn’t sway her. She said it would be wrong to chance those odds and I could always return to purchase those when I was more experienced. I picked up my other purchases, thanked her and left.
Those words were to prove true over and over again. Even the low maintenance plants I bought died. But she was and remains open to consultation and supports buffing plant owners.
