The doctor that was assigned to me told me he never believed what I complained to him about until the last test I did proved other wise. When he got my result, that's when he became concerned because my right eyesight didn't do well on the examination which was the eye I was complaining about. He said it looked like i had glaucoma he put drops in my eyes 4 times.. just to clear my eyes so he would be able to see properly. when he did, he comfirmed and was able to diagnose me!! THAT'S WHEN HE TOLD ME THAT HE NEVER TOOK ME SERIOUS. THAT HE THOUGHT I DO NOT KNOW WHAT I WAS SAYING UNTIL HE SAW MY LAST RESULT!! WHO DOES THAT?????
They were just running tests up and down not actually getting to the root of the problem. Every office you enter and every light shown in you eyes, you pay money!!! You people extorted me until the last test that actually showed what the issue it. WHY DIDN'T YOU JUST REFER TO THE LAST TEST INITIALLY?
Also Y'ALL STAFF AT THE OPTICAL SHOP SAID SHE WOULD BEAT ME UP, REFUSED TO GIVE ME MY GLASSES TEST RESULT BECAUSE I REFUSED TO PAY 67,000 NAIRA FOR GLASSES. IS IT A MUST TO BUY GLASSES FROM YOUR SHOP?? THEY LIED AND GANNGED UP ON ME! NO MANNERS AND RESPECT FOR THEIR SENIOR COLLEAGUE WHO WAS BEING A MEDIATOR!!

Chime N.★★★★★ — I could have given this place 5 Star, but for the needless bottlenecks and their refusal to upgrade to a modern database system of storing patients information...(you can't believe that they still use papers, and move files up and down). Nothing is new here. For most of my life, I've known this place (four decades), nothing is new except for some white elephant projects which are politically motivated.
The queues are usually worst on the first working day of the week. So if you want to see a Doctor, do well to go another day other than the first working day of the week. Also Fridays are not a good time to see Doctors because most of them don't even show up. This is not just the case of Guinness Eye Centre, but cuts across all of government own offices. It's already a menace, as workers don't show up on Fridays.
Aside these issues, this is a good place to get help for your eye problems. They are thorough with their treatments.

The series of unnecessary tests and scans, their delays and lackadaisical attitudes in order to prolong your stay which accumulates in the expenses and enriches their pockets is really appalling and should be looked into by whatever body that is in charge of the medical sector . You’d literally spend an arm and a leg 200-300k and at the end of the day you only av malaria. The worst part is, no one will tell you what they are treating you for except you probe. This is beyond evil! I don’t even want to enter the extent of how unprofessional they are cos that would be an epistle. But the essence of my gist is, we will be looking for another hospital. If not that Regina is far and for the matter of emergency I wouldn’t av bothered continued patronage. Y’all need to do better
