The doctor that was assigned to me told me he never believed what I complained to him about until the last test I did proved other wise. When he got my result, that's when he became concerned because my right eyesight didn't do well on the examination which was the eye I was complaining about. He said it looked like i had glaucoma he put drops in my eyes 4 times.. just to clear my eyes so he would be able to see properly. when he did, he comfirmed and was able to diagnose me!! THAT'S WHEN HE TOLD ME THAT HE NEVER TOOK ME SERIOUS. THAT HE THOUGHT I DO NOT KNOW WHAT I WAS SAYING UNTIL HE SAW MY LAST RESULT!! WHO DOES THAT????? They were just running tests up and down not actually getting to the root of the problem. Every office you enter and every light shown in you eyes, you pay money!!! You people extorted me until the last test that actually showed what the issue it. WHY DIDN'T YOU JUST REFER TO THE LAST TEST INITIALLY? Also Y'ALL STAFF AT THE OPTICAL SHOP SAID SHE WOULD BEAT ME UP, REFUSED TO GIVE ME MY GLASSES TEST RESULT BECAUSE I REFUSED TO PAY 67,000 NAIRA FOR GLASSES. IS IT A MUST TO BUY GLASSES FROM YOUR SHOP?? THEY LIED AND GANNGED UP ON ME! NO MANNERS AND RESPECT FOR THEIR SENIOR COLLEAGUE WHO WAS BEING A MEDIATOR!! GOD FORBID I COME BACK OR RECOMMEND ANYBODY TO YOUR HOSPITAL.

You'll have to look around to get cash before proceeding for any other things. Aside from this, the environment is cool. Went there for an eye issue and was properly attended to by a doctor. It's just close to general hospital Onitsha
Chime N. ★★★★★ : I could have given this place 5 Star, but for the needless bottlenecks and their refusal to upgrade to a modern database system of storing patients information...(you can't believe that they still use papers, and move files up and down). Nothing is new here. For most of my life, I've known this place (four decades), nothing is new except for some white elephant projects which are politically motivated. The queues are usually worst on the first working day of the week. So if you want to see a Doctor, do well to go another day other than the first working day of the week. Also Fridays are not a good time to see Doctors because most of them don't even show up. This is not just the case of Guinness Eye Centre, but cuts across all of government own offices. It's already a menace, as workers don't show up on Fridays. Aside these issues, this is a good place to get help for your eye problems. They are thorough with their treatments.

scotch B. ★★★★★ : Be very careful of the asian doctor, in fact check the medication he gives you before you take them. Told him I have thyroid issues and as a result I am on a bp med. This man put me on vistulent potassium iodide drops 5x A DAY! This drop highly affects the thyroid glands and it shouldn't be taken more that 3 times a day. I had to stop using it cos my eyes were seriously aching me and I was having palpitations suddenly, so I decided to read up on it and to my greatest shock it was the wrongest drops for me and the worst dosage. This eye clinic has been my family go to but after this, fear no fit allow me cross Una gate again.
