• kakam N. ★★★★★ : De Rainbow Event Maquee is an experience to behold. Abuja is a big city with countless event centres. I've been to many in different parts of the city, but Rainbow stands out. It's like you are driving/walking into an exclusive estate. Located in the quiet, highbrow Area 8 of the city centre, just off a major bypass highway. The main hall is caveneous to put it mildly. Nothing less than 120 meters in length by 50 meters width. The place for the celebrants is at the centre. Giant high capacity air-conditioners are placed around the hall. Was there for about 8 hrs without feeling hot, stuffy, or sweating. In fact, it was getting chilly at a point. It can contain a huge bubbly crowd without people bumping into each other. The stewards have ample space to manoeuvre around. The food and drink vendors also have their covered area outside the main area without interfering in the proceedings inside the main hall. The parking areas are massive, well laid out & can accommodate hundreds of cars at a time. Lush, well trimmed lawns abound (good for picnics & family outdoor events). There is even a children's playground on the grounds with all the play infrastructure. However, what impressed me most was the convenience. Very clean, air-conditioned & with running water, liquid hand-wash bottles & tissue paper. I made several visits there & never had an unpleasant experience. Above all, the staff stay quietly in the background. Efficiency at its best, I will say. Generally, I will describe Rainbow Event Marquee as an epitome of prime real estate with spectacular elegance & a perfect welcoming ambience
