Michael A.★★★★★ — I hardly play games but when I'm at Devibes I have so much fun. It is really an amazing space, I recommend it for anyone looking to have a fun chill time in uyo
Uwakmfon A.★★★★★ — The snooker challenge at Devibes lounge is on a whole different level, I had so much fun and I love the service as well
Iniobong U.★★★★★ — Today, I walked past Ibom Plaza, and it honestly made me pause.
Seeing a place that holds so many childhood memories now revamped with beautiful graffiti, clean walkways, and tight security felt deeply comforting. It is one of those moments where the past and present meet, and it feels right.
If you are visiting Uyo, please make it a point to stop by Ibom Plaza. Take a slow stroll around, soak in the atmosphere, and snap pictures with the iconic I Love Akwa Ibom graffiti. It is simple, but it stays with you.
What makes it even more special is that Ibom Plaza sits right at the heart of the city. It is not just a relaxation spot, it is a historical place. This is where the name Uyo itself was derived from.
Some places are more than locations. They are memory holders. Ibom Plaza is one of them.
Fashakin S.★★★★★ — I've been there few times and the environment is good with the new artistic design on the wall makes it more beautiful, except the outside and around it
Yessy O.★★★★★ — A big market to buy almost anything you want. From cooking items to household basic amenities to clothings/footwears to school items, you'd find them there.
But be careful with your properties, especially phone, lest you go to the market whole and return incomplete!😭🤣
akan B.★★★★★ — It's always over crowded on the market days, but lil better on normal days. It's not organise at all, your properties aren't safe at all, so u must be conscious and at alert at all times. There is a lot of gud stuff but can get from here if u have gud eyes or taste for quality.
John V.★★★★★ — You can go here if you like to play snooker. It's private and you'd connect with like minded people.
Though I'd appreciate if they reduce the indoor smoking. You'd attract more customers. It's not co
David E.★★★★★ — Offers good parking space for those looking to hangout at the city center. Capacity is good, air conditioning is mortuary standard, sound system is top notch. Great place to see a game and hangout in
IniAbasi E.★★★★★ — A beautiful event center with very cold air conditioners
akan B.★★★★★ — It's a nice hall for an event. The hall is quite spacious for moderate events but not the big and elaborate type. The car park is somewhat small, but the roadside can also serve the purpose.
Emordama★★★★★ — Entry fee here is N5,000/person and it gives access to the carousel ride, and bouncy castle. Then they also have my best part—Pulled Horse Chariot Ride and this costs N5,000/person too. Bumper cars too are available here for a fee. Loved the place and most especially the chariot ride.
Helen E.★★★★★ — The timing was wrong and the service was bad. Hated it. Do better,
モーゼスウチェ★★★★★ — I love this place so well! The staff guided us through the menu as we were overwhelmed with their offerings. I had the shredded chicken wings, chips and Chapman (not strong enough tho as my previous experience at other restaurants). My friend had the burger with chips. It's very quiet inside considering the human traffic in the entire Tropicana Mall. One can be there and go unnoticed. As someone who has eaten at similar restaurants in Abuja and Lagos, the prices were very fair enough. This is understandable considering the differences in cost of living across the three cities.
Nevertheless, I really like the place and recommend it especially to first time visitors to Uyo.
P.S. To management, change that number on your Google page. It is always switched off.
EDIT:
I visited Silver Lounge recently and I must say everything is going well. Although, my friend said the catfish was too dry, I found it very tasty. If you go with a Lagos price mindset, you will consider it very affordable. However, if you go with an Uyo's price mindset, you will consider quite expensive.
Morgan M.★★★★★ — The food is amazing, great drinks and cocktails too
Samuel J.★★★★★ — Sun center bakery and supermarket in the same building; located at Ewet Housing Estate, Uyo, Akwa Ibom State
Ufuoma A.★★★★★ — Used to be my favourite spot around 2010. They have somehow let the place run down. Only thing going for it now is its fast food restaurant. Food has found a way to continue to be nice even though the place could use some maintenance. They use to have a nice bar with every cold drinks, the place is just not as fun as it used to be anymore
