Deji★★★★★ — Been hearing about this place for a while and decided to try it out a few days ago. The food isn’t bad but it took about an hour for us to get it.
Milkshake was a bit too watery. Plantain and chips were superb. The fish was good-ish, it was easy to notice that it wasn’t fresh though.
Someone was having a birthday there and the noise was unbearable. I feel it would have made more sense if they booked the full restaurant for a few hours rather than mixing with other diners.

Deji★★★★★ — The service here was top notch. The servers are very polite and attentive. Food was really good. We had the Makinde Silver platter and even though they said it was for 3, 4 of us couldn’t finish it. Had to request for “pack to go”. Also had their Oreo milkshake which was heaven. All in all, this place is tops and would definitely do it again.

Feranmi O.★★★★★ — Food is great but customer service is ridiculous. Most of those women selling the food hate their jobs. Sad, awful, frustrated and bitter women. Nearly all the people I have introduced have had something negative to say not about the food but the customer service. If the owner is interested in long term relevance, s/he should review the workforce. They do the job carelessly because it’s not their own. It doesn’t take a hundred displeased customers for an organization to go out of business. It only takes one. Took time to type this out because the product is great and I want the best for y’all.
Morenike O.★★★★★ — If you know, you know.
I genuinely love the food at Iya Meta Food Canteen in Bodija Market. The highlight for me is their signature rice and stew — it’s absolutely the bomb. Rich, flavorful, and properly cooked the way local food should taste.
Now, let me be honest — the environment could be cleaner. It’s a typical busy market setting, and cleanliness isn’t exactly top-tier. But the taste? It keeps pulling me back.
If you’re in Bodija Market and you care more about authentic, delicious Nigerian food than fancy ambience, this spot is worth trying. I’ll definitely be going back.
blessing I.★★★★★ — This is the best amala spot have ever been to in Ibadan. The amala is so fluffy and no lumps, I suspect the amala is turned with a machine because it is too perfect to be turn by human being. The meat and assorted are moderately cooked not too soft or too hard and I love the fact that their staff are matured people that knows how to attend to customers not the regular that have rude girls and lack manners or attending to customer. I will love to visit again 😍😍🥰🥰😋
KarlaGod★★★★★ — Absolute best Turkey I've ever had.
The amala was awesome!
The stew for rice.... So so, but the amala was amazing!
Yuki S.★★★★★ — I had a very bad experience here the waiter were rude the drink came late,we ordered for chicken wings and it took them over one hour to tell us later that it was not ready but the manager later came to apologize for the whole scenario apart from that there is a Photo Booth

Uduak E.★★★★★ — Some of the food was great, some just mid. The snapper fish was amazing but their platter was very underwhelming.
Tomi P.★★★★★ — This place was awesome. The food was really good. I got the Habor and it was so good and my friend got the Carat which was also really good. We got the matrix as desert and 2 bottles of wine. The first wine was a dry but tasty red called Chateau Les Religieuses Saint-Emilion Grand Cru. Which was lovely. The white wine was the Escudo Rojo. Lovely food, lovely vibe. I don’t know how we ended up staying for over 4 hours but I highly recommend!
Chinenye G.★★★★★ — Had a nice time here. Went on a Sunday and it wasn’t crowded probably because it looked like it was going to rain.
The aura is lovely with good music blasting that one could dance and vibe to.
Had their cocktails which arrived almost immediately. Then their Stone platter which was ok the burger bread was crunchy though. Then had their Chinese rice and Asun.
The waiter was super nice and good looking. Nice service. He explained the different available cocktail to us.
