Chad B.★★★★★ — Very disappointing experience. Waiters were inattentive and uninterested. We waited an unreasonable amount of time to place an order, then waited again to get water. Food quality could not make up for the poor service.
Dennis E.★★★★★ — Very interesting restaurant and bar, but needs more update of its background.
And the waiters should learn to respect costumers as well.🙏
Henry★★★★★ — The prices at this place are all over the place. Ever since they introduced a new flyer with the item prices, the workers have been changing the prices themselves — writing over the original ones or taping new ones on top. For example, the flyer clearly says a meat pie is ₦1,000, but the ladies there will call ₦1,200 today and ₦1,250 tomorrow.
And to make things worse, when you finally buy it, the meat pie is barely filled — mostly empty space and maybe three tiny bits of meat inside. It’s disappointing, especially for the price they’re now calling. This place really needs proper supervision and consistency, both in pricing and in quality.
Maryanne O.★★★★★ — Horrible customer service! Please management you guys should do better.
Obi A.★★★★★ — Bad services, rude staff, disrespectful staff...too much delay before service.
Emma N.★★★★★ — Chicken Republic on Enugu Road in Nsukka is a lively hub for students and locals craving quick, flavorful fried chicken, serving up crispy combos, spicy yam fries, and affordable value meals that hit the mark for a post-lecture bite.
The vibrant atmosphere and convenient delivery options via apps like Joeron make it a solid 4/5 for accessibility and taste, but peak-hour chaos, barking staff, and occasional misses like inconsistent moi moi can test your patience.
It’s a reliable spot for no-fuss Nigerian fast food, though a touch more polish on service and consistency could make it truly stand out.
Christabel A.★★★★★ — Airy market place and hangout place
You can get a lot from there
Miracle D.★★★★★ — The environment is good and friendly, with constant TV entertainment. A wide variety of foods and drinks are also available at the restaurant.
The only setback is that the restaurant is quite understaffed. Also, it is only able to serve a maximum of two customers at a time, causing a line of waiting customers each time.
Manuel C.★★★★★ — I don't know if it happens on a regular but how can you people dish out a cold soup for someone.. Roadside food sellers can't even try such.. Please caution your staff
Ibegbulem F.★★★★★ — It's a good place for chilling with friends and loved ones.
Chidife C.★★★★★ — Delivery and customer service is very terrible. Hafa to wait almost an hr to get d food and I was still insulted by d staff dey should really du better
toochiba X.★★★★★ — I will give it a five star their sharwama is top notch and compared to non here in Nsukka...
Ezinne★★★★★ — Is a nice place to get food and nice palm wine at nsukka.
Prosper N.★★★★★ — This place is a living hell, they sell old fried chickens that may have stayed for days, everything about them is bad, do not eat there
Wendy C.★★★★★ — Lol...Don't know if anyone still reads reviews. Dunno for delivery inside camp but once you successfully place an order expect it in an hour's time or more.
Customer service is wack! You'll be pissed about the delay in delivery and that chuks guy ( handler) would give you attitude.
Drive- in is cool...if you have the energy but delivery?? Just get your own courrier guy
