Spliff B.★★★★★ : Wonderful place. Very skilled and patient teacher with a great personality! I had a fun time and made some beautiful pottery with my team!
Clinton M.★★★★★ : Such a great experience. I particularly liked that the tutor took her time to give a background about what we were about to do before we started, a thorough explanation that gave the class more meaning and value. The ambience was great as was the class itself. The teaching was hands-on and the guidance really kind. I enjoyed it so much, I was gutted it had to end.
Karina A.★★★★★ : Joining the Music Business Academy for Africa was one of the most transformative experiences of my life. I had always dreamed of being part of the program, and after multiple attempts, I finally got in through the MBA for Africa Beneficiary Fund, sponsored by the Warner Justice Fund.
From the very beginning, it was a rollercoaster of emotions. Imagine being placed in a WhatsApp group with nearly 500 brilliant minds—you’re excited but also trying to find your voice and your place. As someone who always preferred physical classrooms, I was nervous about learning online, but MBAFA changed that. It pushed me out of my comfort zone in the best way possible.
The program is intense, immersive, and deeply rewarding. From working in diverse teams on real-world tasks to leading a department in a simulated company, every activity stretched me. It wasn’t always easy—there were days I felt overwhelmed juggling work, life, and the program—but I kept showing up. And in doing so, I grew.
More than anything, MBAFA taught me collaboration, resilience, patience, and the value of community. I met amazing people who I know will go on to shape the African music industry in powerful ways.
If you’re considering this program, just know it’s not a walk in the park—but it’s worth every second. Come ready to learn, to lead, to unlearn, and to grow. MBAFA doesn’t just teach you about the music business—it teaches you about yourself.
Thank you MBAFA for believing in me and for this life-changing opportunity.

Edmoon K.★★★★★ : It was an eye-opening experience for me getting to meet Sir Drikus Volschenk - Head of Screen Acting Department -Ebony Life Creative Academy and other creatives in the academy. Selfless and passionate. My elder brother works at Ebony Life but I'd never step foot in that building work of art before. It's stunning and filled with good vibes and energy .
Very open minded people out there and I'm happy I got to meet some very nice people .
