Chuck I.★★★★★ — We contracted Hilma Aqua Designs to build our family pool in our residence in Mayfair Gardens Estate, Lekki, Lagos Nigeria. We contacted Hilma because they had a 5 star review on google. Those reviews were all fraud, as their services were well below 2 stars.
We held a number of meetings with their creative director Ajayi Nurudeen Oladele and his team, making sure they understood the scope of work and what we needed done. We handed Ajayi the very detailed drawings of the pools we wanted them to build. He claimed that they will build our pool to perfection as per our designs. They were a failure.
Hilma built our pool short of the length, depth, and width. They plugged, cemented and covered the drainage in the children's pool without telling us and only discovered it a few months later when we wanted to drain it. They told us they were having problem with the drainage they created and therefore plugged it. So that pool has no drainage.
The main pool is leaking a few months after they finished, and Ajayi sent their plumber who told us that he could not identify where the problem was and left it like that. Ajayi and Hilma stopped taking our calls.
Hilma used an inexperienced tiler with no appropriate tools to do the job. They ended up destroying more than 1/3rd of our tiles. Lots of the tiles have pulled and peeled out of the pool walls and floor within 7 months of their completion.
We have had nothing but problems with the pool and have to spend great deal of money trying to fix the problems, while Hilma no longer answer us, after being fully paid.
Hilma are fraud. Do business with them at your own risk.
