INI N.★★★★★ — Amazing atmosphere and superb customer services.
Sumayya H.★★★★★ — Delicious meal, like Amala with Ewedu and Ebegiri. Jollof rice, Fried Rice with Salad and other meal. Cow leg, tail and paper soup. Good atmosphere with a unique table cloth of Anka fabric. Friendly staff.
FSL★★★★★ — Calido is a really pleasant surprise, especially considering it’s located within the rather unimpressive grounds of Tahir Guest Palace. Once you get past that, however, it’s a beautiful rooftop spot with a lovely view of Kano that immediately elevates the experience.
Apparently, it’s a beloved birthday destination, there were multiple celebrations happening the same evening I visited, which added to the lively, upscale atmosphere. I was a guest at the hotel and stopped by Calido just for tea and dessert, so I can’t speak extensively on the full menu, but the tea was very nice and the tres leches cake was absolutely divine.
The ambiance is top-tier and the vibes are elite. I also really appreciated the wet wipes on the tables, small touch, big impact, and the service was attentive throughout. All in all, it’s a great spot for a chic evening out, celebrations, or a relaxed rooftop hang.

Psamuel A.★★★★★ — This restaurant has on of the best Moi Moi in town... Wrapped traditionally in banana leaves, it gives you the natural taste of Moi Moi at an affordable price. Sometimes I wonder how they are able to keep the price that low.
Anyway... The rest of the food is fine, but I come here just for Moi Moi.
Okey E.★★★★★ — This spot is absolutely fantastic! My needs were perfectly met in such a cost-friendly way. The service was top-notch and truly courteous. 🌟😊👍
Andrew E.★★★★★ — The traditional setting is nice and pleasing to the eyes but they need to work on their food. Especially the Amala.
I did not taste other meals because I wanted the headline food and I was disappointed. The meat was too small, the stew was not it and the ewedu was just there. They can do better
