Kayode Y.★★★★★ — Nice place, nice music. The manager is very friendly. If you are getting fish, expect an hour wait time. However the place is very nice so you may not feel the long wait
Hadiza★★★★★ — Loved every bit of it 😍.
Just that I didn't get the name of our waitress but she was a good help too.
Muhammad S.★★★★★ — My amazing wife and I just finished a meal, and it was truly remarkable. The white rice with roasted chicken was perfectly cooked, tender, flavorful, and satisfying. We rounded off with a chilled yoghurt, which was refreshing and delicious.
A special thanks to Emmanuel and Jealous for their outstanding customer service. They were courteous, attentive, and made our dining experience even more enjoyable. Excellent food, warm atmosphere, and top-notch service. It's definitely a place we’ll love to visit again!
Mohammed H.★★★★★ — Great service. Great food with a large variety. Relaxing garden to sit and eat. Good for get togethers
FSL★★★★★ — Calido is a really pleasant surprise, especially considering it’s located within the rather unimpressive grounds of Tahir Guest Palace. Once you get past that, however, it’s a beautiful rooftop spot with a lovely view of Kano that immediately elevates the experience.
Apparently, it’s a beloved birthday destination, there were multiple celebrations happening the same evening I visited, which added to the lively, upscale atmosphere. I was a guest at the hotel and stopped by Calido just for tea and dessert, so I can’t speak extensively on the full menu, but the tea was very nice and the tres leches cake was absolutely divine.
The ambiance is top-tier and the vibes are elite. I also really appreciated the wet wipes on the tables, small touch, big impact, and the service was attentive throughout. All in all, it’s a great spot for a chic evening out, celebrations, or a relaxed rooftop hang.

The staff are courteous and environment is cool.

Cosmas A.★★★★★ — Very nice place and I enjoyed their Akara but if you go their after 7pm, chances are that you might likely not get Akara.

Amara R.★★★★★ — A Truly Delicious Breakfast Experience
I had such an amazing breakfast at Akara Abuja! From the moment the meal was served, everything looked and tasted absolutely delicious. Every bite was full of flavor, perfectly prepared, and clearly made with care. The quality of the food was top-notch, and the presentation was just as impressive.
It was one of those meals that leaves you satisfied, happy, and already looking forward to the next visit. If you’re in Abuja and looking for a place that truly delivers on taste, I highly recommend Akara Abuja. They know how to do breakfast right
