Fleg'★★★★★ — Great experience.
Hold funds for entry fee.
Despite paying for full experience with your guide, some tour guides won't want to walk you through the experience of you don't tip them extra. That's the downside. Asides this, the experience is awesome especially if you go through the rocks to the top rather than taking the stairs. Will I want to go again? Yes.
Chalya I.★★★★★ — We had an amazing time. The hike up to the top of the rock was exciting though a bit scary. I also enjoyed visiting the arts and crafts shops and Nike art Gallery. Great experience all in all. Would definitely visit again.
Abati M.★★★★★ — I loved every ounce of the food and the service was top notch! I went there with my family and we were served drinks first, then waited for our food.
It took a while but it was worth it.
Idowu M.★★★★★ — had an absolutely wonderful experience at South Kitchen and Lounge! From the moment I walked in, everything about the place stood out — the cozy atmosphere, the neat setup, the delicious food, and the attentive service. It’s one of those places that makes you feel welcome right away.
But what truly made my visit exceptional was Mrs. Modupe, one of the supervisors. She went above and beyond to ensure everything was perfect — from checking on our table with genuine warmth to making sure we were satisfied with every detail. Her professionalism, kindness, and calm energy added such a personal touch to the whole experience. It’s rare to meet someone who takes their job so seriously yet makes it feel so effortless.
Big shout-out to Mrs. Modupe for her outstanding service! She’s truly a gem and a great representation of what excellent customer service should be. Because of her, I’ll definitely be coming back and recommending South Kitchen & Lounge to friends and family.
eyinade O.★★★★★ — An excellent place to visit in Abeokuta. It demonstrates the rich culture of the Egbas including very important personalities in education, government, law, medical field and theatre arts. Portraits of the past ruling Obas are displayed with their ancient palaces.
Jesusson★★★★★ — It's a beautiful place!! Exudes History, Arts and Cultural Aura.
I and a Team of Artists are about to make it more awesome with stunning Visual Arts; would have to update this review again.
Adetuase P.★★★★★ — Visited only the boat ride station but I will definitely go back to explore the park. The environment is very serene and peaceful.
Olu S.★★★★★ — The OOPL is located within compound of the Olusegun Obasanjo Presidential Library (OOPL). There are also event centers, hotel (Legacy Green Resort) and a gift shop within this compound. There is also a mini boat ride within the compound. One can opt to pay for package that combines the library tour, boat ride and the wildlife tour or one can decide to pay for each items. Some animals there when I went there were falcon, crocodile, lion, ostrich, monkeys, python, etc
Olu S.★★★★★ — The Professor Wole Soyinka Train Station is one of the train stations on the route from Lagos to Ibadan, and vice versa. It is the main train station that serves Abeokuta town, and it's situated at Laderin, Abeokuta. The station is beautiful and neat. Unfortunately, the road connecting is bad, and hence commuting between it and the town is not that pleasant. Hope this malady would be addressed soon
Omeje O.★★★★★ — The service at train station is also organised and swift. Kudos to the government.
The station can run a bus service to transport visitors to the city, that's just my suggestion.
ObafemiO★★★★★ — Great experience! I had the mutton with naan… It was good and just spicy enough! We also had the turkey appetizer, pounded yam and Efo… All delicious! The atmosphere is beautiful. I can’t wait to brin
ServiceCritic★★★★★ — What I ordered was tasted delicious, restaurant atmosphere was calm, order didn’t take so much time. The waitress lacks a bit of product knowledge, but she was polite and friendly.
Martins B.★★★★★ — A very lovely place with nice ambience. It’s a story building with the restaurant on the top floor and a bar downstairs. Food here is affordable. The medium bowl can serve two while the large can serv
ayotomiwa O.★★★★★ — The restaurant!!!!!! 💪......I'd definitely go there again, the setting is lovely and there's space for whatever kind of group you're coming with (tables for 2,4,8,12 and even family) and it's childre
Precious A.★★★★★ — My experience here was a solid 10/10! My best friend and I came to eat, and we had absolutely no complaints. The customer service was excellent, and the ambience was just perfect, exactly the calm atm
Joshua★★★★★ — Was looking to get some local food and found this spot. They make the food fresh so it will take 20-30minutes to prepare. Had the Ogbono and it was a 10/10. I for sure will come back here any time vis
Bunmi K★★★★★ — After we had a bad experience from eating the food at Celia's Hotel, I had to go out to get myself a good meal from Olorunwa Kitchen and I was glad I did. It was a sumptuous meal and very satisfying.
olaleye O.★★★★★ — The place is so lovely ,their food is very delicious, most especially their swallow
Their customer service is top notch

olanrewaju A.★★★★★ — This place is not functioning properly yet. And we still have to pay 10k for entrance without any fún or things to do.
The manager is rude and doesn't respect the client we even greet her and she refused to answer greetings.
Please they should put notice out that the place is not functioning well again. No quad bike ride or kayaking sef
Ethereal C.★★★★★ — Omu Resort is a dark shadow of its former glory. What we saw online was not what we met - it was deserted and depicted a place not used for months.
We visited on a Public Holiday (Monday, 31 March 2025)
They collected entrance fees and later came to tell us they're sorry, that it was under renovation.
Why not put up a notice on your online platforms to inform intending visitors that the place is under renovation instead of wasting time and resources to come all the way? That's not fair at all.
The FUNAAB Zoological Garden beside it was also closed because the staff were on Holiday! On a Public Holiday when people have time to visit? Come on 😓
The Management can do better!
Hope the place is restored and functional ASAP.
