Ademola A.★★★★★ — While I believe it's not as expansive as the Bodija market, the Bashorun market is also very decent and closer to people resident on the Bashorun/Akobo expressway.
However, there are very little options of things to shop for.
Ayo Z.★★★★★ — One big market place in Ibadan locate at Bodija along ọjọ Road if you follow through Ọjọ but you can follow through Sango too and it's close to University of Ibadan.
Adebowale A.★★★★★ — Very rough and dirty market coupled with bad roads....though their prices are fair
Adediran M.★★★★★ — Predominantly a local foodstuffs market. It lacks many conveniences. It is closed to Lagos/Ibadan Express Way. This is supposed to be an avenue to promote sales saves the lack of social amenities. Half of the market has been presently demolished leaving the second half of dilapidated shops. Hope the project will not be abandoned and that the present occupiers of the shops there will be taken into consideration during the allocation. God bless OYSG..
Thank God as at today 13th July 2025, all the old stalls have been completely demolished and modern stalls have been spring up. With the rehabilitation of Olomi Academy Road, the market will be one of the achievement of this present regime if it's completed early.
As at today 21st September, part of the stalls have been completed while the major parts have not.
Ademola A.★★★★★ — One of the important markets in Ibadan. You can get everything, ranging from groceries to utensils, and pretty much every basic necessities. Or at least, most of them.
However, it is narrow: it is mostly a market on both sides of a narrow double-lane road that leads to Beere and Oja Oba.
If you can stand the human traffic, I recommend.
MUSTAPHA A.★★★★★ — Ing problem is perfectly done!
