James A. ★★★★★ : Cocoa house is a hub for shopping malls. I shop there often. The building is iconic. I tell my Canada bound students that if they can master french they can master anything like cocoa house
Samuel A. ★★★★★ : Cocoa House remains one of the most iconic landmarks in Ibadan and a proud symbol of Nigeria’s rich history and economic development. As the first skyscraper in West Africa, the building carries a strong historical significance and still stands as a reminder of the achievements of the old Western Region during the cocoa boom era. Located in the heart of Ibadan, Cocoa House is easily accessible and surrounded by major commercial activities, making it a familiar reference point for both residents and visitors. The structure itself has an impressive architectural presence, and despite its age, it still maintains its relevance as a business and administrative hub within the city. One of the things that makes Cocoa House special is the sense of history attached to it. Visiting the environment gives a feeling of nostalgia and pride, especially for people who appreciate Nigeria’s cultural heritage and historical landmarks. The area around the building is usually busy with traders, offices, and daily commercial activities, reflecting the vibrant nature of Ibadan itself. The building also offers a beautiful view of parts of the city from higher floors, and its central location makes it easy to connect to other important areas within Ibadan. Security and accessibility around the premises are relatively decent, although traffic around the axis can become quite heavy during peak business hours. Overall, Cocoa House is more than just a building — it is a monument of history, resilience, and economic legacy. It remains one of the must-know landmarks in Ibadan and a place worth visiting for anyone interested in history, architecture, and the story of Nigeria’s development.

Totalcare S. ★★★★★ : The Palms Shopping Mall is one of the most convenient and well-organized shopping destinations in Lagos. It offers a clean, secure environment with a good mix of stores, from fashion and electronics to groceries and lifestyle brands. The cinema experience and food court also make it a nice spot to relax or hang out with friends and family. Titi D. ★★★★★ : The place was alright. The highlight for me was the massage area as the chair I used did a good job for the price. The supermarket also seems quite affordable. I'd be coming back to shop there. The eatery gave me a headache. Their music is so loud even after I complained, they reduced it for a couple of minutes and it was back up. The staff at the eatery were having fun with the music forgetting that it should be convenient for the customer as well. Their food wasn't bad but the chicken portion was small. Not sure I'd want to eat here again.

Anike J. ★★★★★ : I’m a long standing customer and was just at your Bodija, Ibadan location at 12:33 PM. There seems to be a constant occurrence of items not being on the system whenever I ask for pricing that is not shown on the shelves. So today’s incident, they even refused to give me a receipt, and I had to insist on a handwritten receipt because they just wanted to use a pen to write it on the back of the receipt. They initially stated there were no more of the hand written sales receipt before eventually, on my insistence…”checked to see if they could find any.” I feel that it’s so unprofessional, and this needs to be corrected. It seems I’m being defrauded. It doesn’t seem that they don’t account for these items that customers purchased that’s not on the system and they keep the money for themselves.

Adebisi A. ★★★★★ : Nice place to get your groceries, Kitchen tools and equipments, electronics, kids things and other household items. It has a big parking lot.
Jorge S. ★★★★★ : It's an expensive warehouse sort of mall with an extensive shelf list. I got there and was impressed by the competency and capability if the staff. All acting and moving smartly except for the usual suspects some gathered in huddles and gisting away whilst ignoring customers. The mall had a nice variety of goods stocked and stacked neatly in shelves with wide aisles ... Of course the customers do not know the ethics of the mall ... You don't block aisles in malls especially when you see another shopper coming down the aisle with a defective cart. The low point of my visit was I had to kick the "only" cart with a defective wheel...that cart was demonic always going exactly where you don't want it to go. I muscles it round the mall though. Overall I had a wonderful experience shopping at the mall I was hassled by an "American cola" sales girl and I bought six bottles of the cola and the six bottles of the cocktail juice and now I'm addicted. I'll certainly be back at the mall and soon too.
