Okiemute I.★★★★★ — My experience at Confessions Lounge was honestly a mix of good and not so good. On the positive side, the ambience is beautiful. Warm lighting, nice décor, and a comfortable setting that makes you want to relax and enjoy your time. The food itself was also really good, and the staff member who attended to us was polite, patient, and handled our requests well.
But my major issue was the waiting time. We had to wait 1 hour and 30 minutes before our food arrived. Another thing that didn’t sit well with me was being asked to move from the seat we originally picked because “a family of four might come in” and they felt the other seats might not be comfortable for them. We agreed and moved, only to find out later that it was unnecessary (we spent an extra 1 hour and 30 minutes there, and during that entire time, nobody sat in our original seat).
Suggestion: It would help a lot if they had someone at the door whose job is to seat guests properly from the start. That would avoid situations like that awkward, unnecessary, and slightly embarrassing relocation.

I ordered a Strawberry fruit smoothie and instead of receiving a purely fruit smoothie there was 'Holandia milk' added. I don't drink milk. The staff member was well meaning, but I don't understand how a restaurant doesn't have a common menu. Atleast to check for allergies!
You are unable to return the product once ordered and I later learned it's because the amount of the discarded order gets docked from the staff member's salary. I was planning to go there on Sunday and so glad I had this experience so I don't go back again and waste any money. I'm sure their other food and drinks are nice but I haven't experienced those yet.

Okiemute I.★★★★★ — I had a fun experience at New 22 Lounge. I’m not sure if it was because we arrived at night, but we weren’t able to get food, which was a bit disappointing. However, the customer service made up for it . The staff were polite, responsive, and did their best to attend to everyone despite the crowd.
The hype men and DJ kept the place lively throughout the night. The atmosphere was energetic, and you can tell it’s a popular hangout spot because it gets pretty packed after dark. The downside to this is that moving around becomes a bit of a chore, especially with the limited seating arrangement. I think some improvements could be made in organizing the seating, although I understand people tend to move chairs and tables around.
The parking situation could also be better. The car park in front of the building is quite small, and the rest of the parking ends up being more “street-style,” which may not feel as secure as guests would prefer. Still, the lighting and overall ambience of the lounge are really nice, and the bathrooms were clean, which I appreciated.

I informed the restaurant that my husband doesn’t eat spicy food and ordered for “Jollof spaghetti” not spicy. I got to the restaurant and waited over 1 hour to get my food ( even though a reservation was made) to crown it all, my husband’s food was so spicy he couldn’t even eat it. We had to leave. They think they sell class but it’s trash. Very disappointed.
