Kayode Y.★★★★★ — Nice place, nice music. The manager is very friendly. If you are getting fish, expect an hour wait time. However the place is very nice so you may not feel the long wait
Hadiza★★★★★ — Loved every bit of it 😍.
Just that I didn't get the name of our waitress but she was a good help too.
Iyanda A.★★★★★ — It is important to clearly state on the menu what to expect, rather than having a shredded chicken in the plate while hoping to get a chicken breast.
It's a nice place for weekend vibes.
Ola B.★★★★★ — Food is nice, high price, atmosphere and service 👌 perfect... would be better if they have WiFi it was not connecting at all.
Emeka O.★★★★★ — Nice dinning experience. You could choose to use the rooftop to view Kano at night or use the VIP section for that cool evening dinner.
Very good for dinner. A hidden gem in Kano.
babatunde H.★★★★★ — For me this place is giving in all aspects, love it 100% although I did not stay on the side of the club which can be noisy..
Ismaila A.★★★★★ — The hotel is nice. The staff are nice and they offer amazing services. I really enjoyed my weekend. I would visit the same hotel again!
FSL★★★★★ — Calido is a really pleasant surprise, especially considering it’s located within the rather unimpressive grounds of Tahir Guest Palace. Once you get past that, however, it’s a beautiful rooftop spot with a lovely view of Kano that immediately elevates the experience.
Apparently, it’s a beloved birthday destination, there were multiple celebrations happening the same evening I visited, which added to the lively, upscale atmosphere. I was a guest at the hotel and stopped by Calido just for tea and dessert, so I can’t speak extensively on the full menu, but the tea was very nice and the tres leches cake was absolutely divine.
The ambiance is top-tier and the vibes are elite. I also really appreciated the wet wipes on the tables, small touch, big impact, and the service was attentive throughout. All in all, it’s a great spot for a chic evening out, celebrations, or a relaxed rooftop hang.

Maryam B.★★★★★ — The service was unacceptable i went there by 9pm and didn’t receive any food till 2am on new years,we didn’t even get water, we waited for 5 hours and we just got leftovers rice without a spoon and we got dry popcorn, our table was intentionally ignored we paid 37k PER PERSON and we were 9 and we were one of the first people to get there and they said first come com first serve they have poor management skills and I recommend not to go their I was very disappointed I will never dine their again
Estelle A★★★★★ — Recommended by a dear friend, this place is lovely. The coffee was great, service was above average. I had the breakfast burrito and it was satisfying and filling. Loved that it didn’t have the regular umami flavor, it was perfectly salted and delicious. Will visit again.
SULAIMAN A.★★★★★ — I really don’t like the fair waiter.He is rude.He lacks customer service.Fix that.This is a big issue.
Abdullahi K.★★★★★ — Very bad experience, no human relations, the food served is no longer sweet I regretted going there again. I've been there early this year where I had a lunch and dinner for almost a week, the manager by name Ahmad zene was very friendly who I later found out that he is no longer with rashko. and the food was nice then. You guys need to do better
Faith★★★★★ — I recently had a disappointing experience at your restaurant. Unfortunately, the security personnel at the entrance were extremely rude, causing me embarrassment. To make matters worse, they attempted to extort money from me by claiming that the entry voucher was ₦20,000, implying that I had to spend at least that amount on food. Despite my initial hesitation, I agreed to their terms and proceeded inside.
However, I was shocked to discover that the total cost of my order, which consisted of two plates of rice and water, was significantly less than ₦20,000. Later added drinks to the list 20k+. The service was appalling, with the food arriving at our table after a lengthy two-hour wait. To add insult to injury, the food was served cold.
I strongly believe that the restaurant needs to improve its services and refrain from extorting customers. It's unacceptable to waste people's precious time and treat them with such disrespect. I hope they take necessary steps to address these issues and provide better experiences for their patrons in the future.
