This is one of the local markets in the city. It's about the biggest and located in the heart of Benin. You'd basically get everything you need to buy - food, household, apparels and at. Some people believe the wares are more expensive but I think the prices are just about right…

Oba market is unarguably the best market to shop for stuff in Benin. Okay maybe not the best, because New Benin market and Ekiosa etc are still very valid competitors. Even so, if you know your way around, you'll get some fantastic deals
