The zoo is clean and easy to find, but there were barely any animals there just 2 monkeys, 1 baboon, 1 gesse, 1 water turtle, 2 crocodile and a horse and donkey. The entrance fee was 1k. Very disappointing sha.

The government needs to intervene on PortHarcourt Zoo situation. The facility needs to be revamped. It’s the lungs of the city of PortHarcourt, the garden city. I really hope the Rivers State government can revive this beautiful abode of wildlife. I am optimistic.

Its 2025, the Zoo is not properly care for. The animals look like theyve given up on life. The water turtle did not make a move at all when i was then, same with the crocodile, the water they are is just too small. It was bushy around

Almost no animals… only a few monkeys, two tortoises, one horse, one peacock, two crocodiles, one eagle… no tigers, no Lions( except two electrocuted ones), no giraffes, no elephants…almost nothing… plus the environment is filthy, filled with weird crawling caterpillars, horse…
