Its a general bus-stop, and you can get a bus to almost everywhere in lagos from here and buses to almost everywhere in the southern and southeastern parts of Nigeria.

Mile 2, presently a sensitive area for miscreants and shady acrivities, is now a Railway Terminus. It is going soon to become a big transit and interchange like that of Oshodi. Construction to reclame the area fully is presently in progress.
