I have been lodging at Jerry Marriott once in a while since 2023, but what’s happening there now does not make any sense. How will I pay a caution fee, yet when I’m ready to go out they say they can’t return the money until the next day? And the food situation is another issue…

This is more like making due with what you have. At least there is water, light and modest security. The rooms are basic, the food is just like what you can find in the town.
