Eke is a market day according to the Igbo calendar, and the market only opens on that day. The market view is like every other typical local market in Nigeria.

It's a place were you can be able to see food .. such as garri , plantain, Palm Oil in large way including 🐟 fish

I had been to this market where goods and farm produce are sold in large numbers. The items are very cheap, and are natural and organic.

The market for quality and affordable natural food stuff. Plenty of plantains and quality garri,not forgetting Palm oil.

Umulokpa has many markets but Eke Akiyi market remains the biggest within Umulokpa where various farm produce are traded in large quantities.
