It's a competent small airport. Quiet by Nigerian standards. Do use the lounge at departures of you can. About $5. Otherwise, the departure hall is still quite comfy.

My first time passing through Asaba International Airport. My plane landed without any hitch on the runway. It is well maintained with clean toilets, Clean tiled floor with a conveyor belt that works. The immigration do their jobs dutifully and it has a large parking space.

Better than I expected and way ahead of regular state airports. I also didn't meet the usual lobbying for tips by staff as witnessed in other airports. It's neat, has the basic modern facilities and larger waiting lounge. It is near to the expressway and you can walk it.
