The Imo State fire service is not standard again as its use to be, if there is a fire outbreak somewhere in the town, if you call them to inform them they will tell you that they don't have enough fuel to come.

Formely located along Egbu road, the state office was relocated to Okigwe road beside the Nigeria Prison Services. The have often times responded to emergency calls but logistical challenges have been their bane.
