Deji★★★★★ — The service here was top notch. The servers are very polite and attentive. Food was really good. We had the Makinde Silver platter and even though they said it was for 3, 4 of us couldn’t finish it. Had to request for “pack to go”. Also had their Oreo milkshake which was heaven. All in all, this place is tops and would definitely do it again.

Ericson B.★★★★★ — This is the worse Amala experience I've had in a long time.
I've not had Amala in over 2 years, then I decided to head here.
First issue I had with the space upstairs is the heat.
The cost wasn't a problem, cause we were 8 on the Amala date.
The food was cold.
The meat wasn't soft.
There was no water to was hands, so we had to use spoons to eat Amala.
The restroom was locked.
The attendant were non chalant.
The TV upstairs was so loud and noisy.
My worse Amala day.
People eat and they don't even clear the table in time (the empty plate behind our table was there for over 38 minutes).
Aladodo A.★★★★★ — The food is awesome, service is unparalleled, atmosphere is very welcoming, and overall, would rate a 10/10.
Definitely stopping by on all my Ibadan Journey!
Feranmi O.★★★★★ — Food is great but customer service is ridiculous. Most of those women selling the food hate their jobs. Sad, awful, frustrated and bitter women. Nearly all the people I have introduced have had something negative to say not about the food but the customer service. If the owner is interested in long term relevance, s/he should review the workforce. They do the job carelessly because it’s not their own. It doesn’t take a hundred displeased customers for an organization to go out of business. It only takes one. Took time to type this out because the product is great and I want the best for y’all.
Morenike O.★★★★★ — If you know, you know.
I genuinely love the food at Iya Meta Food Canteen in Bodija Market. The highlight for me is their signature rice and stew — it’s absolutely the bomb. Rich, flavorful, and properly cooked the way local food should taste.
Now, let me be honest — the environment could be cleaner. It’s a typical busy market setting, and cleanliness isn’t exactly top-tier. But the taste? It keeps pulling me back.
If you’re in Bodija Market and you care more about authentic, delicious Nigerian food than fancy ambience, this spot is worth trying. I’ll definitely be going back.
Boluwatife A.★★★★★ — I had the pleasure of ordering two amazing soup bowls at Nuela's Cuisine. Their Edikang Ikong soup with soft fufu last November was mouth-watering and freshly made. This month, I tried their Oha soup for the first time, and it was sumptuous. No spillage, delivered fresh and hot.
No doubt about their cooking skills - she's the real deal. The Nuela’s team is crushing it in the kitchen and with branding and packaging, too!
Highly recommended.
Baderinwa E.★★★★★ — Nuela’s Cuisine serves food that feels carefully crafted, not rushed. The flavors are natural as she claims daily and you can tell quality ingredients were used. Everything arrived fresh, neatly packaged, and right on time. The portions were satisfying and the pricing felt fair for the quality delivered. This is the kind of meal you finish and immediately start planning to order again.
Thank you Chef for a satisfying meal.
Crystal O.★★★★★ — This restaurant is a scam. Waitress said no prawns offered of shrimp cocktail brought us mayonnaise and bread. Waitress had horrible attitude and would’ve gotten a &50 usd tip if she didn’t
Rebecca A.★★★★★ — I've been coming here over the years to enjoy hummus and the quality of the food has never changed.
The service could be more fine tunned by management.
Folasiji B.★★★★★ — Excellent taste, Basic Architecture, Fair service.
I loved the local feel and setup of the kitchen, it gives you hope of the tasty goodness to come.
All they need for 5 star is an upgrade of their physical surroundings. Nonetheless the food is great, pricey but great.
Gabriel S.★★★★★ — I was told Celebrities do come to eat here aswell so it means it’s not a bad place. From my experience it’s a good place to eat some local swallow meal especially the Amala.
Ogunlashe F.★★★★★ — love the peppersoup i had. it was filling and tasty.
Olayode B.★★★★★ — It's one of the available spots for relaxation on the campus of University of Ibadan. It is located at the Junior Staff Quarters Abadina shortly after the UI Hotels and Conference Centre.
It has a naturally cool environment and is usually busier in the evenings.
You can eat in or have take outs. Take outs are usually better if you have children as environment is more for Adults.
