Deji★★★★★ — Been hearing about this place for a while and decided to try it out a few days ago. The food isn’t bad but it took about an hour for us to get it.
Milkshake was a bit too watery. Plantain and chips were superb. The fish was good-ish, it was easy to notice that it wasn’t fresh though.
Someone was having a birthday there and the noise was unbearable. I feel it would have made more sense if they booked the full restaurant for a few hours rather than mixing with other diners.

Kingsley O.★★★★★ — Coming from the UK and the main priority is to eat authentic and fresh Nigerian dishes Lolu's has been a a dream come true. Also big shout out to Mr Bayo the chef xxx
Wasiu M.★★★★★ — The food is good. The service is excellent but the atmosphere is whack. The fine dining experience is always ruined with noise and too loud music.
Martha’s is a restaurant and not a lounge/ club.
Dr. M.★★★★★ — Nice place though small in size, parking lot and inside space are small, no wifi, no wheelchair parking lot, no armed security personnel, but outsourced security outfit, however, Marthas kitchen is superb with variety of local & intercontinental dishes, drinks and dessert. More enjoyable with family members, friends, colleagues, others. Just you know that Marthas kitchen is an upmarket resturant also having 15% vat deduction
Caleb C.★★★★★ — You have to wait in line to place your order. Then you wait for some minutes, the time depends on what your order is. But basically, order time is usually from 5-30 minutes. For example, time for sharwarma is longer. Their food is great tho. Love it.
Lydia U.★★★★★ — I visited here with a friend. The customer service was excellent. I love how structured they are. The environment is beautiful too. So you won't be bored while waiting for your order (seats are made a
Deji★★★★★ — The service here was top notch. The servers are very polite and attentive. Food was really good. We had the Makinde Silver platter and even though they said it was for 3, 4 of us couldn’t finish it. Had to request for “pack to go”. Also had their Oreo milkshake which was heaven. All in all, this place is tops and would definitely do it again.

Don S.★★★★★ — There food were nice but it doesn't making sense eating inside heat, we understand the economy of the country, you can do better to get fan once since your outlet is a closed one.
rukayat★★★★★ — When they say, staff that represent your brand , I had a lovely experience today 20th dec 2025. I and my hubby came from lagos to ibadan for a weeding, we were searching frantically for a place to eat, we drove pass a particular fast food and we were reversing and ultima was just a before them, ultima security guard named Abdul Rasheed, stopped us and said are we not eating, we said we were going to the next fast food, boy! he started advertising for Ultima, we should try them, he listed all the food they had , sincerely his marketing prowess got us, and did we regret it no! The food was vey good and the fresh juice was a bang.
Ericson B.★★★★★ — This is the worse Amala experience I've had in a long time.
I've not had Amala in over 2 years, then I decided to head here.
First issue I had with the space upstairs is the heat.
The cost wasn't a problem, cause we were 8 on the Amala date.
The food was cold.
The meat wasn't soft.
There was no water to was hands, so we had to use spoons to eat Amala.
The restroom was locked.
The attendant were non chalant.
The TV upstairs was so loud and noisy.
My worse Amala day.
People eat and they don't even clear the table in time (the empty plate behind our table was there for over 38 minutes).
Aladodo A.★★★★★ — The food is awesome, service is unparalleled, atmosphere is very welcoming, and overall, would rate a 10/10.
Definitely stopping by on all my Ibadan Journey!
Feranmi O.★★★★★ — Food is great but customer service is ridiculous. Most of those women selling the food hate their jobs. Sad, awful, frustrated and bitter women. Nearly all the people I have introduced have had something negative to say not about the food but the customer service. If the owner is interested in long term relevance, s/he should review the workforce. They do the job carelessly because it’s not their own. It doesn’t take a hundred displeased customers for an organization to go out of business. It only takes one. Took time to type this out because the product is great and I want the best for y’all.
Morenike O.★★★★★ — If you know, you know.
I genuinely love the food at Iya Meta Food Canteen in Bodija Market. The highlight for me is their signature rice and stew — it’s absolutely the bomb. Rich, flavorful, and properly cooked the way local food should taste.
Now, let me be honest — the environment could be cleaner. It’s a typical busy market setting, and cleanliness isn’t exactly top-tier. But the taste? It keeps pulling me back.
If you’re in Bodija Market and you care more about authentic, delicious Nigerian food than fancy ambience, this spot is worth trying. I’ll definitely be going back.
Omolayo M.★★★★★ — We had such a great experience at the restaurant. The staff were friendly and the atmosphere was welcoming. The food was delicious too. 👍🏾
Maryam A.★★★★★ — I visited The Place for a solo date after Jumuat one afternoon, and the experience was genuinely enjoyable. The aesthetics immediately stood out — clean, cool, and well put together. Despite being a b
Feyisayo O.★★★★★ — Accesible, serves good food at affordable prices. Also offers variety of meals and ice cream. Has a good ambience too.
timothy M.★★★★★ — This is solely about the Item7go at Challenge in Ibadan, Oyo State. The place itself is beautiful and their rice still seems the same but over the span of just 2 years, their shawarma has literally gone from great to terrible. The Item7go in Lagos State is new and doing great right now. Infact for me, i think they make the best shawarma in Lagos as of today. I just hope that they can maintain this quality standard as time goes on.

Olaide K.★★★★★ — This is a restaurant and event space located in Ibadan, Oyo State, Nigeria. It’s a popular spot for dining and social getherings . Suitable for casual meals , dates, family dinners and group hangouts. It also includes big and small halls that can be used for events or parties.
Barakat A★★★★★ — I cannot recommend this restaurant to anyone. Not only is their service extremely slow, they are also unfair and dishonest.
First of all, I ordered 2 milkshake drinks. 1 in store and 1 as a take away. Mind you each drink was Naira 10,000. The first strawberry milkshake i was served in store was okay. It was overly sweet and it had a slightly weird taste but it wasn't too bad overall. The second chocolate milkshake came in a much much smaller sizing than the one in store. Like im confused did I not order the same type of drink?
Secondly, the restaurant is so hot. The fans are barely working and the A/c was switched off even when there was light. The entire atmosphere was just so un-appealing The most annoying part of this whole experience was the obnoxiously loud music playing in the background. We could barely hear each other talking. We asked for the music to be turned down, which they did at first, but some minutes later, it was turned back up again. This was such a poor experience with this restaurant. Nothing could ever make me come back here. You guys really need to learn to do better!!
