I discovered the Barnawa branch accidentally when I was looking for place to eat a light meal. Such is the reputation that I didn't hesitate to enter the outlet immediately, & I didn't leave disappointed. The Chicken Republic in Barnawa, Kaduna, is located on Zaire Road. The franchise is inviting to committed customers to enjoy the unquantifiable pleasures of it's signature sizzling hot crunchy chicken & sides it offers. As expected it was flavoured to perfection with it's usual unique blend of authentic spices. Furthermore, the brand is known for the affordability of it's meals. Prices vary by location & I know that this Kaduna branch is way cheaper than if it was in Abuja or Lagos. Later when rubbing minds with friends, I realised that it is known for its delicious well spiced chicken & affordable meals. The branch operates daily; Monday – Sunday from 7:00 AM – 10:00 PM & offers a variety of West African-inspired fast food. Typical prices range from ₦2,000 to ₦4,000 for individual meals depending on what is ordered. The budget-friendly options start around ₦2,300,00 which consists of jollof rice or fried rice or spaghetti with a piece of chicken. Well spiced fried chicken, rotisserie chicken & crunchy chicken are also available. Shawarma (about ₦4,000:00), chief burger (₦4,800:00), & sides like pastries, meat pies, chicken pies, moin-moin, coleslaw, & fried plantain are equally available. The striking thing about the Barnawa branch is that it is very clean & cozy. Cleaning staff constantly clean the place including the convenience, which has running water & necessary amenities. The uniformed staff who are mostly young individuals are calm, well mannered & courteous when attending to customers. According to a Chicken Republic online post; 'behind every delicious, soulfully spiced chicken meal & at the forefront of every great customer experience stands a passionate & committed person'. Yes, I totally agree ! The facility is small, but with good ambiance. Clean bright walls with beautiful posters hanging... Limited parking spaces are available, but they suffice as it's not so much a busy business. Also, the security staff ensure good parking in other to maximally utilise the limited spaces. The atmosphere here is generally casual & quiet, suitable for solo dining, groups, as well as family outings. Apart from dining-in, takeout & online orders/delivery are also available. Was meant to understand that delivery orders can be placed via the official ordering portal or third-party apps like Glovo and Chowdeck. The restroom is wheelchair-accessible, though the entrance isn't. The place is good for children as it offers high chairs & a dedicated kids' menu. The Chicken Republic Barnawa branch, is definitely true to type in upholding & maintaining the vaunted reputation & traditions of the franchise. Keep it up, please
