Seyilogo B.★★★★★ — This hotel is seriously lacking in quality of staff, service and food. I stayed here for a work trip over one week and it was the worst hotel experience I’ve ever had. The only good thing about this place are the clean rooms. This is about to be a very lengthy review.
Firstly, my colleague and I were supposed to have two rooms side by side. We dropped our bags at 1pm and returned to the hotel by 10pm. Can you imagine that only one room was ready for check-in??
The hotel did not have enough keycards, thus we had to get someone from the front desk to open our doors with the master key every time we needed to reenter our rooms.
Upon check-in, I discovered that one of the lights in my room was faulty. I asked everyday for it to be repaired. I stayed at the hotel for 7 days and the issue was never rectified.
The breakfast was abysmal! Worst I’ve ever had. Imagine delivery of just bread and egg? No butter no accompaniments and you call that a breakfast. I ate it on the first day and never ate it again. In my room they never replaced my teacups. When I called to ask for one, I was told that they had run out. So I couldn’t drink tea!
The security guards also leave you to figure out how to open the gate by yourself. The staff use their phones and take loud personal phone calls in the restaurant and lobby.
I asked for an iron and was told by the laundryman sent to my room that one couldn’t be provided because it’s like I’m trying to take away business from the hotel as they do laundry.
The staff are so ill-trained and clueless. You need total overhaul of your management team and proper hospitality training. The only thing this hotel has going for them is location and clean rooms. Other than that, it’s a terrible place to stay.
Mohammed M.★★★★★ — Decent hotel, but outrageously overpriced. The staff are polite, yet still incompetent. Constant problems with the room keys and the complimentary breakfast is disgraceful for a hotel at this price point.
