I stayed here for an impromptu dinner meeting and called ahead to reserve a business-class room. I was informed it was unavailable and that only a Double Deluxe room remained, which i paid for. Unfortunately, the room was extremely disappointing. The space was surprisingly tiny and disappointing for the price and advertised standard, the television was a tiny tv with unclear channels, and the bathroom was equally cramped. The photos online were very misleading.
However, the room itself was not the worst part of this stay.
The following morning, i called for breakfast and wanted to take it to my room. That simple request triggered what became the most humiliating and distressing experience i have ever encountered at a hotel. I was verbally abused, insulted, and aggressively confronted by staff simply for wanting to eat my breakfast in the room i had paid for. The situation escalated unnecessarily and left me feeling threatened and deeply disrespected by the staff, especially the little girl at the bar area. I was not with my security detail otherwise she would have actually be dealt with accordingly.
I have stayed in hotels across different countries, and nowhere have i encountered such a hostile reaction to a basic and reasonable request. In most reputable hotels, room service or in-room dining is either standard or at least offered respectfully. To be treated in this manner over breakfast is completely unacceptable. Every sane hotel would even offer to bring you your breakfast for a little tip, or you go take it yourself to your room.
This experience was unprofessional, demeaning, and emotionally distressing. I would strongly caution anyone considering staying here, especially those expecting basic hospitality, respect, or customer service. International travelers should avoid this place, it’s a disaster and very dangerous.
