• Aniekeme U. ★★★★★ — It’s unfortunate where this business has fallen to, especially in terms of service. Chloe’s Cupcakes used to be a darling Abuja business, now? Terrible. Employees don’t understand the basics of customer service. Cakes can be such a sentimental and time-bound purchase. If care isn’t taken, it’s a horrible experience for customers. Had an order messed up so badly I had to come myself the following day, missing the birthday I initially made the order for. If this was the first or only mess up, I’d overlook it. Sadly, that’s not the case. I’ve had an order delayed for over 4 hours without proactive communication. While the cupcakes are good, at this point, there are much better, more reliable alternatives. Also plastic packaging? Not cute. Also there hasn’t been ice cream at this location for about a year now.
• Ema I. ★★★★★ — Though I loved the quality of my previous orders, I was disappointed at the quality of the cake I received much recently, the vanilla was dense and rubbery in texture as if it wasn’t mixed thoroughly or something. The red velvet also seemed to have a very strong cinnamon flavour. My request was for a semi naked cake but I got cake that was fully covered with icing. I communicated my feedback via WhatsApp only to be ignored. Not a good experience at all.
