I saw their ad on instagram and reached out to them. I was referred to their WhatsApp were I paid for services that wasn’t rendered. 450k first installment out of 2850 cad, 25/05/2026 I paid. This particular payment was for consultation, cv revamp sop and school application ( no school application was done, no cv revamp nor sop was seen by me however these people claimed it’s internally done saying I don’t have to see it. After I realized you don’t get the loan approved until you have gone through the visa process and all the financial implications of proving that you have money to study falls only on the candidate I decided to withdraw from the application after I realized they were not giving any supporting financial documents by the loan institutions which ideally you are meant to present to the immigration official. Rather they insisted that you as the candidate would show proof of funds of up to 80m in your account. Then what’s the point of a loan? they offered their 3rd party financial services ( which isn’t compulsory) who wld charge 4% on 80m. (All conversations recorded ). They also informed me the loan isn’t actually approved until i have gotten the student visa. (note: not before the visa) all these information were not communicated before I made the first financial commitment. we all know currently IRCC asks you pay at least a year tuition before they can even give you a visa. I actually thought the supporting financial document student loan companies usually give will be given in this case but unfortunately no. Saying they no longer did that starting from May 2026. when I kept asking about POF and when the loan would be approved till it turned into to an issue, their superior called on a google meet to explain( conversations recorded). After the conversation and I realized what they communicated initially and what they where communicating now weren’t tallying I asked for a refund for the services they did not carry out and they bluntly refused telling me they started all the process also stating they have a non refund policy which they actually do but wasn’t sent to me before I made any payment. ( they claimed its on their website meanwhile I first saw them on instagram then made transactions with their representative on WhatsApp). Kindly note they threatened to sue me for dropping a review via the email claiming I would be tarnishing their image . (Every single thing I have said here I have evidence of phone call conversations and chats so by all means they should proceed to sue. I paid for services that wasn’t rendered. From the 450k the only service I got was consultation and school recommendation. No school application was done by them. No linked in optimization, no cv or sop. careerleapafrica you claim you all are very transparent with information so why can’t the public know what you truly offer? Why is the review of my experience a trait? Everything I have stated here I have evidence. If you choose not to refund that’s fine but one thing I know is I don’t want someone else whom is struggling to survive fall into this trap. Please note with 2850cad you cannot start the process. It’s way more than that which I hoped would have been communicated. Thanks
