Gee★★★★★ — Fun fact, last time I was here was over 30 years ago with my dad (who's dead now) so was kind of nostalgic going back. It's been taken over by the landmark group and they gradually bringing it back to life. I loved it purely from the nostalgic angle and you can see what it is going to be when it's all done up. They aren't quite there yet though. The rooms are good, was able to watch the champions league in room and got the match i wanted which isn't always a given in most hotels i stay in. The restaurant was same as it was 30 years ago but the service wasn't fantastic. Food was passable, still a lot of work to be done. Front office staff were fantastic and it was a pleasant experience. You can already see where is headed and I'll definitely go back in a few months. The view over the lake is awesome
ozioma J.★★★★★ — Lodged in one of the deluxe rooms and it was breathtaking experience, the services was also topnotch with well mannered and polite workers. We later went for a boat ride around the lake and it was yet another awesome experience, while on the boat ride we came across a Croc that was resting on a root of a tree and was receiving some sunshine and we took pictures of it. The location was also another thing, it was located outskirt of the town, I loved my time there and already planing for a revisit with my fiancée.
Cynthia I.★★★★★ — Visiting the Center for Memories was a truly emotional experience. The center does an excellent job of promoting and showcasing the history, traditions, and customs of the Igbo people. The exhibits are well-curated, and the interactive displays make it a fun and engaging experience for visitors of all ages. The staff are friendly and welcoming.
I'm so proud to see our culture being celebrated and preserved in such a beautiful way." - If you're interested in learning about Igbo traditions and history, this is the place to be!" - 5/5 stars
Chinonso N.★★★★★ — I went there for an event, things fall apart event.
It was a beautiful place, there were beautiful art pieces on exhibition there, I don't know if that's the norm, but I hope so. 🤲🏾
The paintings were very beautiful with sculptures also.
Damaris U.★★★★★ — This is the 4th time at spa imperial and the customer service gets worse each time. How can a procedure be going on and other people keep entering and exiting the procedure room. Aesthetician stops at intervals to gist with her colleagues. Please give your staff proper customer service training.
Kira★★★★★ — Our visit to this spa was extremely disappointing, especially considering it came highly recommended. When we arrived, there were three ladies at the reception, yet not one of them made any effort to assist or even acknowledge us properly. No one stood up to welcome us or explain their services.
Each time we asked a question, they appeared reluctant and visibly irritated by our presence. One of them, who had a low cut hair style was even watching a movie at the front desk it was clear they weren’t interested in working or attending to clients.
We came as a group, ready to book multiple services, and politely asked if there was any group discount available. Not only was our request declined, but it was done without the slightest courtesy or professionalism. Their lack of effort and disinterest were unacceptable.
In the end, we decided to take our money elsewhere to a place that actually values customers. It’s truly disappointing that a spa that came so highly recommended would have such poor service. Until they properly train or replace their front desk staff, I wouldn’t recommend this place to anyone.
Sommie N.★★★★★ — I loved the serene, picturesque and calm environment. There’s no doubt that this place is where you come to relax and take in the goodness of nature. This is an ideal place for get-togethers with friends/colleagues and picnics.
There’s a gate fee to be paid but it’s honestly so worth it.
Ogenyi C.★★★★★ — Great place, nightview here looks sweet, get fee is between 1k to 2k. You can do a whole lot here. Come have fun.
Mbah A.★★★★★ — The meal here tastes very great! It is filling and very affordable. I like how the food is plated and presented in wooden plates,it feels like Royalty.
Nwogo O.★★★★★ — A food filling experience. Blend of culture and taste. Definitely coming back for more.
Nautical E.★★★★★ — Ngwo Tourist Complex consists of Ngwo Pine Forest, Caves and various hills and valleys that make for an Unforgettable time in Nature. Consider reaching out to NauticalEast Community for an Unforgettable Tourism Experience in Nigeria!
Chidinma I.★★★★★ — It was an interesting discovery.
Some tips I would recommend:
1. Go with shoes that have good grip
2. You can get rubber shoes if you mind getting your feet in the mud.
3. Wear something that dries easily in the wind if you’re thinking of entering the water
4. Have other plans if you’re gunning for more hours cause to get to the fall takes less than 2 hours. And there isn’t much else to see except that fall.
5. Don’t litter the place
6. Get a guide
Chukwudi U.★★★★★ — A nice place to hang. I attend karaoke there on Wednesdays, hosted by Knaci.
PHILIP I.★★★★★ — As per the lounge it's spacious enough, you could watch your football games here, good karaoke nights, good services but a lil issue with the parking space.
