Taiwo O.★★★★★ — I stayed here last year in January, that is 2024. I enjoyed my first night mostly because of the room and the receptionist. He was very nice and I promised him I was going to return as I was traveling to Jalingo for a few days. I returned and met a a different receptionist who gave me a not so good room but I didn't let that deter me from returning again last month. I got there on 27th January 2025 after a tiring flight in from Abuja and the receptionist couldn't be bothered to move from the couch where she had a good view of the TV she was watching. She gestured me towards the reception to check the price list. She decided in the middle of my enquiries that there were no rooms as their rooms were under renovation. Well, that could have been said immediately I entered the reception, not after I had been directed to the reception and started making enquries. I had the feeling she didn't take me for a serious customer and didn't want to interrupt her movie time attending to me. It was a very poor reception and I would advise the management to give their staff basic training or better still, install security cameras to ensure that their customers are getting a good quality service as well as value for their money.
Apart from this, the rooms are not bad.
Chidi O.★★★★★ — An update to my review.... Most of the rooms had ACs that were not functioning (due to low power voltage) and had to be supported by standing fans. These fans came after several follow-ups.
Also, power was an issue.. The current fluctuates perpetually and when these happens, the poorly functional ACs stop functioning completely and one is left to sleep in the heat.. It would take several engagements to get the hotel put on the generator and even this does not stay on beyond 3hrs..
They never have enough diesel to power the generator in case of power failure.
Aside the power issues and ACs, my stay there was fun as I had my family with me and the staff were really helpful and courteous.
Jireh needs a complete Management overhaul and a proper fix to the power issues.

Jireh Suites is a mini home away from home. It sure has a homey feel about it. The staff are courteous, jovial and helpful.
I have spent one night here with 3 more to go. I will update when I leave here. So far though, I have only one thing to complain about...lol. The TVs in the room have access to only one DSTV channel, which means that whatever channel the folks at the reception feel like is what ever customer will be forced to watch. I got to decide what channel was on yesterday, so I ain't making a fuss.
