I had been told the only difference between the two categories were the size of the rooms and the absence of a kitchen/cooking area.
I wasn’t expecting the dirty rugs and pungent odour that was in the room, that remained even after air fresheners were applied.
My greatest disappointment was being asked for my car battery cos they were at a loss about their generator. As a result, the light went out at least 3 times through the night causing great discomfort and interrupted sleep.
The property has EVERYTHING to be one of the best in the area if more attention is given to maintenance and daily management.
Did I mention I was almost trapped in the room before the door knob was a mess?
I hope they see this and pay quality attention to fixing these issues asap and not just end up as one of the potential greats lost to poor attitude - the Nigerian story.
I’d have given a lower rating, but I thoroughly enjoyed my first night. I wish they can be consistent at that level.
