uche N.★★★★★ — It's a beautiful cosmopolitan hotel, strategically sited close to the airport. The hotel doubles as a resort parading a variety of fun activities all within its premises(mini amusement park, cinema, spa). Their roof top lounge is peaceful with scenic views of Asaba. Prices are fair for value of services provided and car park is spacious. There is karaoke now every Friday night by the pool side
Dr. E.★★★★★ — Had the best dinner in Vinmilan, requested for white soup with dry fish and it came out awesome. The pool area is good for seat-out adjoining the gymn. Room was nice, calm and away from the hustle and
Kanweli K.★★★★★ — It's a very fun place to visit for both children and adults there are different fun rides and a big swimming pool and water slides with a zoo and art gallery. And after the payment you will be tied a paper wristband to identify that you have paid when entering there is a aquarium by the right side.
Ellie★★★★★ — This is a very beautiful leisure park with many activities for both children and adults. There are options such as swimming, go-karting, and other recreational activities. We traveled from Austria and were excited to visit what felt like a local attraction.
When we arrived, there were many people waiting outside. At first, we thought it was a long entrance queue, but it turned out that these were parents waiting for special offers or activities for their children. If we had not gone inside to ask, we would have joined the line unnecessarily. It would be very helpful to have a staff member outside giving clear instructions and guiding guests, as this would avoid confusion and make the arrival process much smoother.
What we did not enjoy as much was the service at the zoo. The gentleman at the ticket counter answered our questions in a very tired and unmotivated manner. Another staff member at the entrance gate asked us to throw away our popcorn because of the animals, which we of course did. We expected to see many animals afterward and were really looking forward to it, but when we got to the zoo, we honestly thought: “Where are the animals?? 😹”
Unfortunately, this turned out to be quite disappointing. There were very few animals overall: only an ostrich, a few monkeys, some snakes and a lion. The general atmosphere around the animals did not feel very joyful, and I felt especially sorry for the children who may have expected much more.
Overall, there are several nice spots for taking photos and enjoying activities around the park. The cocktail at the restaurant bar was very good; however, the overall restaurant atmosphere could use some improvement. It was quite dark, and hardly anyone was dining there, which made it feel a bit empty.
The park is nice and has potential, but it would be great if it were designed not only to appeal to children, but also more clearly to adults. That said, it was still an enjoyable visit. For anyone looking to take beautiful photos, there is a very cool photographer on-site who takes great pictures.
Chris O.★★★★★ — Mandela Gardens is a place to be, it has nice rooms so spacious, 24hrs power supply, security tight as a result of its location (Inside Asaba Airport).
The garden accommodates different kind of events and service from the staff was good. They are friendly.
Chukwuedo U.★★★★★ — A beautiful hotel in the heart of Asaba, Delta State, Nigeria. A perfect home away from home.
Experience the best luxury in hospitality industry in South South Nigeria.
Safi F.★★★★★ — It’s quite expensive to go in to the park, but you can stay within the premises and take pictures if you like.
Akiri b★★★★★ — Had a beautiful and warm night filled with so much fun, mixed with displayed diversities in culture and rich heritage.
Maryam Babaginda leisure park display a beautiful and scenery environment with presentations of our rich Nigerian heritage from the spacious area to the neatly fully air conditioned event hall. It's a place to revitalize your mind and body especially on that vacation trip alone or with the family.
Adejumo M.★★★★★ — Went on a Saturday morning, so the place wasn't congested, which is what I love. Got the cheapest package as it was my first time. The place is quite huge and it has a lot of fun stuffs to do, especially if you go there with friends or fam. The operators are prone to ask for tips (they aren't really begging per se), so do not be offended by that, if you don't have to give them, just say it, hopefully they'd be sensible enough to not be rude if you don't give them.
The ferris wheel and the equipment next to it are probably the most scary ones for those who are scared of height like me. I didn't try the swimming pool as my ticket didn't cover that but it appears that they maintain it very well. The place is very serene and no one bothers you if your plan is to go there for a solitude type of outing.
There's a lot to write on but in all I'd say the place is pretty okay for group hangouts, dates, family outings and personal leisure.
Willy H.★★★★★ — Had a lot of fun 2 years ago.
Very good for family and friends.
Will surely revisit.
Chukwuemeka O.★★★★★ — The government of Delta State are currently working on creating a link bridge, but currently here is a mess, so much traffic and disorganisation. It's really an issue because it's a major road for the state and those going to Onitsha.
Olajide O.★★★★★ — Until now I have no Idea on how the design of the interchange looks like. But as it appears the flyover does not cross over the main express road which is always congested with heavy trucks. I am having doubts if such heavy trucks will be able to plight the flyover.
Adaobi A.★★★★★ — Awka Wonderland is a place filled with fun and activities for kids and adults. Good for family vacation, Group outing, Picnic grounds, lounge, and eateries. There's merry go round, swing, train ride, swimming pool and lot of things to make one happy.
Goodness P.★★★★★ — I brought my nieces and nephews here for fun and it really delivered. It's a fun filled park for kids.
They have Ferris wheel, pilot ship, and many other things for kids, including a mini zoo.
Best place to take kids to.
