Risto K.★★★★★ — Food was good, it came fast. Service was pleasant. Drinks were good and we could pay with an international card.
The scenery was very nice - a pool with good music.
Temitope A.★★★★★ — I see why they call this place the OG . My experience was a 10/10 primaryly because of the family / kid friendliness. It was pretty easy to locate via Google Maps and we enjoyed every bit of our visit .
I had brunch with my family and the ambience was nice , staff were courteous , it was truly money well spent . my kids had a swel time while my husband and I were eating . They kids play area is definitely an attraction and kept the kids entertained the whole time we were there .
We had rice , taco’s, fruit juice and a strawberry milk shake . Total money spent was around 60,000 naira approximately. They definitely lived up to their hype and I’d definitely visit again .
Hannatu T.★★★★★ — A very beautiful and cosy place to be in. The space is clean with good lighting. Was my second time there, still a good experience..
Peter attended to us, he was very polite and helpful with suggestions. We actually went for cocktails and mocktails but he ended up convincing us to have a little something by the side. We went for Calamari strips, truffle fries and Tar Tar special chicken
- I enjoyed every bit of the calamari strips, it was seasoned well.
- The truffle fries could’ve been better (the sauce could be separate next time)
-I wasn’t impressed by the special chicken (there was nothing special about it). Some of the chicken parts we were given had us wondering if it was bone we ordered. I think sticking to particular chicken parts would be better.
The cocktails and mocktail were a 10!!

Latifat K.★★★★★ — I loved the food. It was really good, although it came out a little late and wasn’t served as piping hot as you’d expect. The naan bread was absolutely delicious. We also enjoyed the drinks.
The music selection that day wasn’t great, and it was quite loud, but when we asked them to tune it down, they adjusted it and switched to a better playlist, which improved the ambience.
I went with my friends, and it’s a really nice, cool place to entertain friends or just sit and enjoy a meal together. The staff were very polite, the ambience was good, and overall we had a great experience.

Eephie I★★★★★ — Nice dining (indoor and outdoor), with friendly staff. A go to when craving to try out a new food yet, want to feel safe with familiar meal options. Meals and beverages are not pricey - very okay for the cost. The outdoor ambience is totally loveable especially in the early evenings. If you are a picture lover, you would love it here!

jideofor A.★★★★★ — The food was not great as at the time I visited. It was a waste of money.
Nurudeen S.★★★★★ — Great place. Nice atmosphere. Cosy, homely interior. Attentive staff. They can improve on their local soup outputs though. Also, Pounded Yam should never be out of stock...or pantry in a restaurant. Period!
Bee-Bee I.★★★★★ — This is my first time visiting Today’s Bukka and I can categorically say that I really enjoyed my food. I ordered Amala, Ewedu, Titus fish and goat meat. It was too DELISH that I ordered for another plate. The ambience is nice, the space is very CLEAN and our server Emmanuel went above and beyond! Emmanuel truly deserves employee of the year. Also, the beautiful lady with the all back braids taught us how to play Ayo. She was so sweet and has a charming smile. I’ll visit again soonest.
Joseph P.★★★★★ — Very nice place to visit with karaoke 🎤 but things are a bit expensive. Imagine a ram suya sold at 1,650 per stick and thie meat can not even fill your mouth. The 3 stick meat you see on the photos is sold at N4,950.00
Tishaun H.★★★★★ — It took about 30 minutes for My husband bowl of catfish pepper soup, the first bowl had rubbery catfish in the bowl so they remade it and brought a smaller bowl of soup I ordered the Bistro signature chicken The sauce was good but the chicken was pretty dry and chewy. I'm taking a trip to Lagos in a few weeks so I was excited when I saw the name me and my husband thought that our experience was going to be something to remember but this one was easily forgettable. The one thing that I did see that was interesting is there were a few attractions that we could go to on our way to the restaurant but I am rating the restaurant not the attractions.
Jumoke★★★★★ — Lagos Bistro will take you straight to Lagos! I really love the entire Lagos-themed there. I’m not a fan of Lagos, but I was genuinely intrigued, if I had never been to Lagos, this place would probably make me want to book a flight to experience it. I guess that’s the whole point! 😂
My dear friend took me there, and interestingly, it’s in the same spot as the Art Tech District, so you can easily stop by before or after visiting there.
The staff are well-trained, polite, and friendly. We had the Jambalaya native rice, and it was good. The space is also very cosy and perfect for a private date. There are different seating options you can sit outside, or inside either downstairs or upstairs depending on whether you want a quiet, private time or a more open and relaxed experience.
I would definitely recommend this place.
モーゼスウチェ★★★★★ — The service at Ejanla was superb. The staff were attentive, nice and somewhat funny. The fish meal was also good, but I realised that tilapia is a really bony fish compared to catfish or croaker.
Nevertheless, I will return again and even make it my favourite spot because of the diligence and attentiveness of the staff. Unfortunately, I did not get their names, but there was a dark female staff who attended to me and my guests and she did a very good job.
Well done!
DANIA B.★★★★★ — I made an order, got sent account details, and only after payment did they tell me what I ordered wasn’t available, I asked for refund but they said they don’t do refund. They started suggesting other options like they were doing me a favor. It took over 3 hours for the food to arrive, and when it finally did, it was missing the beef I paid for.
Completely unprofessional, zero communication, and no regard for customers’ time or money. Definitely not ordering from them again.
FSL★★★★★ — Ancient Flavours was a genuinely enjoyable experience. The menu is pretty solid, now, it’s not gourmand dining, but it’s honestly doing much better than many places that loudly advertise themselves as such. The food was flavourful, delicious, and served in generous portions, which I always appreciate.
The ambiance is clean, bright, and spacious, with both indoor and outdoor seating options that make it feel comfortable and versatile. We had the lamb chops with mashed potatoes, the mash could’ve been softer and creamier, and the lamb could’ve been juicier (I forgot to specify my preferred doneness, and I wasn’t asked), but overall it was still tasty and well-seasoned.
We also tried the spicy chicken wings, crispy wings, and a burger, all of which were satisfying and well-executed. Service was good and attentive, though I did visit during the week at a relatively quiet time, which likely helped.
All in all, Ancient Flavours delivers solid, flavourful food in a pleasant setting. Definitely a reliable and enjoyable spot.
Vera M.★★★★★ — A quiet place. I almost missed it because a tree is blocking the yellow sign on the side of the wall. The food is great. It did not take long to come out. Portions are huge, big enough to share or 2 meals for one person. They make orders to your liking, (if you don't like pepper), I would recommend for meetings or just hanging out with friends. The non-alcoholic drinks section is a bit limited but I enjoyed the fresh orange juice. The staff were a bit unsure about various things but it could be they are new? They were otherwise polite and attentive.
Abdulsalam A.★★★★★ — I had my 19th(?) or so birthday here about a decade ago and that was my first time. Over the years, I’ve enjoyed this spot. During my last trip home, I went twice in a week with friends.
They’ve been able to maintain high standards: warmth, value, pricing and taste

Seyi S.★★★★★ — Very nice place, located across the prestigious Transcorp Hilton hotel in Maitama. There is wide array of local and intercontinental dishes, pricey though. The waitresses/attendants were qell-mannered, willing to guide and assist. Food was delivered to our table.
The ambience is good, homely with excellent view of surrounding road and structures. It is recommended as a choice eatery in Abuja
Neno.O★★★★★ — Foodies is my go-to restaurant for a quick bite. It perfectly blends fast food convenience with a proper, aesthetic dine-in experience. One thing that really stands out is their wide variety of rice dishes — from Chinese rice, jambalaya, pilaf, native rice, jollof, coconut rice, and more. Honestly, it’s the most variety of rice I’ve seen in one restaurant.
The prices are very affordable, making it one of the best budget-friendly places to eat in Abuja. The restaurant is neat, and the staff are friendly, welcoming, and always helpful. A great spot for good food without breaking the bank.
Ama N.★★★★★ — The meal portions were huge.... and the environment was very conducive. Kudos to the staff, they were so attentive. I enjoyed my time there.
Abubakar K.★★★★★ — Food was good but it was a struggle to get served. Even when it's not busy.
Too many workers at pay point and not helpful.
Update. Better service today
I was there last week. Service poor and out wasn't even busy
Banor A.★★★★★ — My wife was craving Nkwobi, so I searched Google for a nice place where we could hang out and satisfy her craving. I saw a few options but chose this place because of its Igbo name, “Okonkwo,” expecting authentic Igbo dishes.
Unfortunately, it was a big disappointment.
My wife ordered Nkwobi while I ordered Abacha. When the food arrived, neither met basic expectations. The Nkwobi had no real Nkwobi taste. The sauce was not thick as it should be with potash; instead, it seemed like red oil fried with onions, lacking the traditional flavour completely.
The Abacha was also poorly prepared. There was no utazi, the ugba was very scanty, and instead of fish (which is the proper protein), it was served with chicken. Even then, the chicken portion was very small and not worth the price.
This experience was disappointing, especially given the expectations set by the name of the restaurant. Management really needs to improve on the preparation of these dishes. I can’t speak for other meals, but for Abacha and Nkwobi, it’s a no for me. Honestly, it didn’t feel like these meals were prepared by people familiar with authentic Igbo cooking.
Rejoice K.★★★★★ — I went for a Scan at Everight Diagnostic, then I was told to walk around to for my water intake to go down below, that was when I saw the restaurant and I decided to go in and I was surprised with everything.
Olawale S.★★★★★ — Excellent! The best seafood okra in abuja
