salami O.★★★★★ — I had a very terrible experience at this hospital. First was with the attitude of some of the health workers. Secondly, I was booked for a C-Section the following day I was admitted to the hospital, it took forever before the surgery could commence. There was no form of urgency knowing that the water to sustain my baby was insufficient and his heartbeat was dropping already. My mother had to beg them to allow her fuel the generator for them to do the surgery.
As if that was not enough, some of their important equipments in the theater and the Neonate intensive care unit are close to not being functional. Just imagine how they will be able to save lives without having what to use (very terrible situation).
My baby had jaundice at birth and was supposed to be placed under light and they didn’t place him in the incubator early enough till my mom had to go and talk to them out of annoyance because of their negligence and even offered to fuel their generator so her grandson can be ok. They ended up putting the gen on for just 3 hours after which it was put of.
I can’t even continue to make mention of their negligence here, it was just a lot to cope with. I had to withdraw my baby out of the hospital because I couldn’t afford losing him to their negligence.
There’s this particular nurse that worked in the nursery while we were there, she has zero empathy and no value for life. She was just different from the two nurses who worked on night duty. They did their best and looked worn out every morning because they had to keep wake to watch the babies in the nursery.

So when my sister registered to have her baby at the hospital this year 2024, I was at peace. From antenatal days up until delivery, it been from one terrible experience to the other. A good number of their nurses are extremely nonchalant and rude. I strongly recommend that the government should look into this hospital to ensure that patients and their relatives are treated better. I definitely would not recommend this hospital to anyone.
