Kayode Y.★★★★★ — Nice place, nice music. The manager is very friendly. If you are getting fish, expect an hour wait time. However the place is very nice so you may not feel the long wait
Hadiza★★★★★ — Loved every bit of it 😍.
Just that I didn't get the name of our waitress but she was a good help too.
Iyanda A.★★★★★ — It is important to clearly state on the menu what to expect, rather than having a shredded chicken in the plate while hoping to get a chicken breast.
It's a nice place for weekend vibes.
Ola B.★★★★★ — Food is nice, high price, atmosphere and service 👌 perfect... would be better if they have WiFi it was not connecting at all.
Emeka O.★★★★★ — Nice dinning experience. You could choose to use the rooftop to view Kano at night or use the VIP section for that cool evening dinner.
Very good for dinner. A hidden gem in Kano.
FSL★★★★★ — Calido is a really pleasant surprise, especially considering it’s located within the rather unimpressive grounds of Tahir Guest Palace. Once you get past that, however, it’s a beautiful rooftop spot with a lovely view of Kano that immediately elevates the experience.
Apparently, it’s a beloved birthday destination, there were multiple celebrations happening the same evening I visited, which added to the lively, upscale atmosphere. I was a guest at the hotel and stopped by Calido just for tea and dessert, so I can’t speak extensively on the full menu, but the tea was very nice and the tres leches cake was absolutely divine.
The ambiance is top-tier and the vibes are elite. I also really appreciated the wet wipes on the tables, small touch, big impact, and the service was attentive throughout. All in all, it’s a great spot for a chic evening out, celebrations, or a relaxed rooftop hang.

Jeby J.★★★★★ — The restaurant offers a sophisticated ambiance with comfortable seating. The menu presented a diverse selection of appealing dishes. Overall, the dining experience was enjoyable and worth recommending.
FSL★★★★★ — Rashko does a beautiful job of bringing Middle Eastern ambiance to life, especially with the carpeted floor seating, it’s a lovely, immersive touch that adds real character to the space. The food was yummy, and the drinks were a real highlight for me, especially the mint drink.
That said, I do have a couple suggestions that would greatly improve the overall experience. First is food handling. While I’m sure the staff are experienced professionals, the way food is handled in front of guests really matters. Seeing bare-hand contact, buzzing flies, and dishes being crossed and passed over already served food doesn’t create the most appetizing impression, even if the food tastes great.
Second is the ergonomics of the carpeted seating. I genuinely love the concept, but a few adjustments would go a long way, some pillows for back support and a slightly elevated surface for the food would make it much more comfortable. This would help with posture and also prevent food from being positioned right at foot level.
Overall, Rashko has great potential with its concept, atmosphere, flavors, and drinks. With a bit more attention to detail, it could be an even better experience.

You guys need to do better
