I walked into the banking hall at about 15 minutes past 3pm on 27th dec 2018 with two toddlers. Filled my withdrawal slip and proceeded to the join the queue of seemingly helpless customers. They were about 12 persons and only 2 tellers. I waited for a while more customers even joined the wait and no One was attending to us or even talking to us. In all my life I've never seen a more nonchalant set of workers. Eventually there was a quarrel amongst the waiting customers when one of them out of frustration tried to hand his slip over to the teller ignoring people that were there before him. A lady called him out and a verbal fight ensued. Still no one made a move to pacify us or even let us know why we had to wait so long. I eventually went to meet a very lousy lady who I figured was the head of operations to ask what was going on as the line wasn't moving. She made no effort to reassure me. Instead she told me one of the tellers was treating a pay direct transaction leaving only one person to attend to the multitude. She told me to go back to my position and that I wld be attended to. I even called the head office to report the situation. Spoke with a lady who said she would get back to me after dropping my acc number. She never called back. I eventually got my money by past 4 pm. I made a video of the event with my phone unfortunately I didnt start on time. It's sad that heritage bank in 2019 doesn't seem to realize that without customers they are nothing. Total disregard for customers shouldn't go unpunished.
