Dan K.★★★★★ — Just spent 15 days at this hotel and it was a nightmare. Very rude and unprofessional staff. Room and bedding dirty as ever. Bath black with a holes around it. Food served in plastic plates. Refused to change a rusty and nearly expired tin of milk. Forced to purchase loo rolls from outside because staff refused to supply any. The reception staff are very rude and always arguing with customers.
Apart from the apparent security provided by the presence of the military residents and the extreme humility and good mannered manager, there is nothing positive about this hotel. I have been patronising this hotel for over 15 years and it seems to be getting worse. Having a permanent contract with the military should not be an excuse to be complacent. Good location but need to improve on service. Throw away broken tea cups and stop using plastic plates. Train staff to stand up and move forward when speaking to customers.
