Many of them go the extra mile, even under pressure, to ensure patients receive proper medical attention. The nurses and supporting staff are also friendly, approachable, and hardworking, despite the heavy workload they face daily. One of the major challenges at LASUTH is the waiting time. Because the hospital attends to a large number of patients from across Lagos and beyond, you might have to wait for hours before seeing a doctor. However, once attended to, you can trust that you’ll receive quality care. The hospital has improved over the years in organization and cleanliness, but there’s still room for more upgrades especially in infrastructure, patient management systems, and crowd control. Overall, LASUTH remains a beacon of hope for affordable and professional healthcare in Lagos. The dedication of its doctors and nurses deserves commendation, and with more government support, it can become a world-class medical facility.
