Adama I.★★★★★ — I gave two stars only because of the location and the building. Aside from that, I did not experience the level of care I expected from the hospital.
Based on the positive reviews I saw online, I decided to visit, but honestly, it was nothing special.
While the nurses were kind and caring, the overall care was disappointing. Unfortunately, I would rate the hospital administration very poorly.
SAMANA S.★★★★★ — Beautiful hospital
God staffs too

Therefore, it is accredited for the residency training of doctors by the West African College of Physicians and the National Postgraduate Medical College. Also, it offers Post-Basic Psychiatric Nursing programs and provides clinical experience for external nursing and midwifery students. The service departments are, Medical, Laboratory & Pharmacy services with means to provide for the various needs of persons with a widerange of mental health challenges including vulnerable ones. The institution was one of 52 federal hospitals to receive a 60 billion intervention from the federal government during the COVID-19 pandemic in 2022. Aside from the federal government intervention, the hospital was also supported by the Kaduna State Government, which launched the coronavirus intervention building, named after professor Jika in 2023. Interestingly, in February 2024, a toxicology ward was created in the hospital, which serves as a facility to cater for patients with substance abuse and drug disorder. The ward also differentiates the other mental issues from those caused by drug misuse, drug abuse & substance disorder. The hospital compound in Barnawa is a masterpiece of civility, healing & homeliness. There are restaurants established inside the facility to take charge of the feeding of those on admission, thereby removing this distraction from the management. Buildings in the massive compound are well dispersed, arranged & properly laid out. Tarred or paved roads lead to the various wards, offices or service sections. Trees line the roads & lawns giving the establishment a countryside ambience. It is indeed a veritable place of healing

Shammah G.★★★★★ — Surprisingly agile mall I didn’t expect. It is this shock value that catapults it to a 5. It is a decent building and houses shops that sell merchandise you may not find anywhere else in Kaduna.

Ademola A.★★★★★ — Very useless hospital..I doubt if the medical director is a registered medical doctor or a surgeon...but performed operation on my brother... another consultant had to come and perform the second operation...thank God he came out of that useless hospital alive.... even the building is a potential risk...you will see columns from ground floor to the last floor not aligned...the architect and structural engineer are as useless as the building...
Ada E.★★★★★ — A very horrible hospital
They don’t take there patients serious the doctor was literally gisting with his colleagues instead of checking me
And that bleached woman who keeps looking at people like she owns them should better stop it
She should do herself a favour and stop bleaching looking like a leopard with skin cancer
Yes you light and you wear glasses and for the doctor take your patients serious
Never returning there and I’ll always say horrible things about your hospital to people
