They attach respect in addressing you and you will see caution in their expression when they are not happy with your approach, unlike the usual Lagos behaviour.

Also, they usual insist on wearing the life jacket while embarking on their boat for precautionary measures.

There is a freshly squeezed fruit juice, undiluted around there, with a respectful woman selling snacks while you wait to embark on your boat ride.
