My R.★★★★★ — I visited this shop to fix two issues on my iPhone, a screen change and a faulty mouthpiece. After the screen was replaced, a camera problem that had previously resolved on its own suddenly returned, and the camera has been blank ever since. I was told it was not their fault and had nothing to do with the screen replacement, and that I would need to replace the camera. Even though the camera was perfectly fine when I handed the phone over, I let that go because I had experienced issues with it in the past.
The real problem came with the mouthpiece. They attempted to fix it, but the issue persisted. I was advised to change it, and I paid for the replacement. Unfortunately, there was absolutely no difference between the “new” mouthpiece and the old one. When I requested a refund since the repair clearly did not work, I was told putting back the old one might affect my Face ID, essentially forcing me to choose between two bad options. I ended up with no refund and no solution.
To make matters worse, I was later told that the board needed to be changed in order for the mouthpiece issue to be resolved and that it would cost almost four times what I had already paid, all for the same mouthpiece problem they could not fix in the first place. At this point, I was being asked to spend even more money with no guarantee that the issue would be resolved or that I would not still be asked for more later.
They claim to use machines to diagnose issues, but from my experience, it felt more like guesswork. I left feeling extremely dissatisfied, disappointed, and honestly, scammed. Nothing hurts more than paying for a service and getting zero value, only to be given excuses and more charges instead of accountability and a refund.
