Kate N.★★★★★ — The worst experience ever encountered spending my hard earned money to order food items from Afric store in Lagos Nigeria. I attempted to surprise couple of my family members in Nigeria by gifting them some food stuff for the holiday. The sales girl ADA gave me the worst experience any customer will ever envision. Her customer service and administrative business acumen was a zero. The business transaction that started in November 2025 when the store was running Christmas deals which was suppose to end in December 5, 2025. Part of the deal was if you live in Lagos delivery would be free. I ordered and paid for all the items so that I'll get the Christmas deal. Sadly, both of my family did not receive their food items timely. They got the items after the Christmas holiday because Ada was playing games with the delivery. Two times she gave us wrong delivery information, wrong and none working telephone numbers of the delivery driver. There was a time I wanted to cancel the transaction and ask for a refund but she said it's too late that the items has been packed. The last pacel for USA was decided to be forwarded to the Lagos address on the 30th of Dec, because Ada stated that it will take 21 days to get to USA. The parcel was not delivered to the Lagos Lekki address until 1/5/2026 because Ada stated there was no driver each time we are able to get thru to her. So I requested that the delivery be made Jan 2nd or 3rd, or I could have someone pick up the package but Ada stated that the store is now closed and will reopen after the 3rd of January. The Rotten food stuff was only delivered yesterday Jan 5th after the individual who was supposed to bring the parcel had already left Nigeria on the 3rd for USA. Ada did not consider the delays in the deliveries and three missing items paid for, that was not included for the already delivered parcel. I reminded Ada about the items missing and the delays. Ada still had the nerve to request total of 25k for the delivery of 4 stockfish, 1 paint of garri and 1 paint of hot pepper to the Lagos Lekki address. Oil and yams she stated can not be delivered to USA due to logistics. It's unfortunate I didn't get my USA parcel. However. I hope it will not go to waste that someone will appreciate it. My sisters in Abuja and Benin sent video of the items that was deliverd, some were spoiled. rotten yams that is quit visible, maggots in the dried fish and some little black aliens in the stockfish. I will give my review 0.1 star. Ada's customer service was zero. Her sarcasmsm made me speak to her with the language she will understand. It was so daunting that she made me react and speak out of character. I will never, ever buy anything from Afric store in Lagos Nigeria again. #OneBADexperienceIsEnoughForME!!
