I visited NAF valley estate today 16/02/26 to check my exams venue while exiting I noticed the soldier had a pack of pure water and I asked for 1 and he gave me 5(God bless you sir) I didn't ask for name but I was really thirsty as abuja weather is hot.
After exiting Naf valley estate I now enter the mammy market there's 100 naira fee ,and the back gate opens at 1pm it's much easier access than following the main gate so I just waited a bit.
I got Fish from Mama lydia for 8000 picture attached, she said 9k I wanted to negotiate to 7k but then I didn't. NIGERIAN MENTALITY(don't blame me)
Fish is marinated and raw takes about 30 minutes.
She tied grated cabbage and carrots in santana for me and there's pepper sauce inside.
Generally the fish is really good a bit over seasoned for me but I'll give it 8.5/10.
Pepper sauce is 6/10 they grill it on the side of the fish when it's almost done but the onions is still raw when you eat it.
The place is a Fish place obviously there'll be flies but it's actually not dirty.
There are places to sit and wait for your order.
When I went it wasn't crowded or noisy ,I'm told it gets busy at night.
Generally I absolutely recommend 👌
