• Eileen N. ★★★★★ — I ordered peppered goat, peppered chicken, & yam fries. When the waitress brought the peppered goat out, it was ice cold. I told her I no longer wanted the goat, and she should bring out a knife and fork so I could start eating the chicken and yam fries. I would have eaten with my hands, but I discovered that the women's bathroom had a broken faucet. There was no where for me to wash my hands. I waited a total of 25 mins for the waitress to bring out cutlery. While waiting, my guest called upon a different server to bring out the knife and fork. That server lied and never came to our table. When the waitress finally returned to the table, she brought back the goat meat, in which she microwaved. There was no cutlery in sight. So, instead of bringing out the cutlery I requested, she had us sitting there for 25 mins while the other food grew cold. I called for the manager, Austin. He came to our table, and I explained the situation to him. He instantly started to defend the incompetent waitress. After I fought with the loud music so that he could hear me, I, again, explained the situation and gave him a verbal lesson on good customer service. Ultimately, he apologized. However, the damage had already been done. I lost my appetite. Poor management breeds poorly trained, incompetent, and terrible staff who lack good customer service. That is the case with this business. I strongly encourage the owner to collect his business before his/her management & employees run it into the ground.
